Hi everyone. I was thinking of digging out some old games (and maybe buying a few here on the Trading Post if they're available)and playing them on my new laptop. I know that sites like GOG have the old games for sale, but to be honest, I still want the boxes, the jewel cases, the manuals, etc. So I'm wondering if it's at all possible to play old games (Such as the Myst series, anything from that era) on a new laptop? I don't want to mess up the computer by trying to run old software on it, and I'm not sure if old games CAN run on a new pc, so I thought I'd post here and see if anyone has tried this and what your experience has been?

PS I can get all of the specs if need be, but for now it's a brand-new HP Pavilion running Windows 10 and Internet Explorer 9.

smile

Thanks so much,
Tracy

Tracy, I would suggest visiting the "Windows 10 and Games" thread down in the Glitches forum. And if you have Windows 10, you do not have IE 9... Windows 10 comes with the new Edge browser. You CAN resurrect the old IE, but it will be IE 11.
