Am totally confused. I have read the posts on this subject and even tried to follow the wt. Still can't even get started. I found the clue behind disks but nothing seems to work. I can't even figure out where to hit the forks. I hope someone can help. Thanks

Norm, I will have to check my saves for the one you are looking for. While I'm doing that please read the Adventure Hints and Guidelines at the top of the Hints forum. It will give you information about downloading save games.

Did you find the clue just inside the door and to the left on the floor. It will put a drawing into the journal that is a vital clue.

You have to associate the large circular stands with the small disks where the tuning forks are used. Think of the small tuning fork disks as 1, 2, 3, and 4 from left to right.

Short pipes are low notes on up to the longest pipe for the highest note. Except for the 2nd "disk" you only have a high and low note to contend with and even on the 2nd disk if you put the highest and lowest in the proper place the third tuning fork can only go into the proper place.

Count your tuning fork locations like this, noting that the angled carving above each set of pipes on the large circular stands must correspond with the drawing in the journal so you will know which pipe is #1,3,3, and 4...............
(1) Left side of disk is #1 pipe
(2) Bottom is #2 pipe
(3) Right is #3 pipe
(4) Top is #4 pipe
of each large circular disk.

Watch out for large circular disk #4

Well, I guess my little drawing did the trick. It made sense to me, of course, but I don't always translate my way of looking at things into a way that others will understand. This puzzle gave me a hard time till I found that clue on the floor. Didn't think to include that into the drawing. Doesn't matter, though, I guess, 'cause if the drawing works the clue is unnecessary. laugh

The only thing that hung me up on this puzzle was missing the obscurely placed page with instructions on what to do. One of the really nice things about this game are the pages showing you what to do, if you use a little imagination. Very solidly good game!

I was doing just great after receiving the saved game at the tuning forks puzzle. When I tried to save is when I had a problem. It saves, but then will not reload. When I click on the are you sure yes button, all I get is a dead cursor and if I move it a long trail of copies of the cursor. Any suggestions?

I've read there's a patch coming out although I'm not sure what it is for. My problem was losing the cursor in a couple of spots and a game save from someone was the only cure to keep me going. laugh
