Having had a few bugs lately ,I have tried to run Microsoft safety scanner ,which has been fine in the past , but each time I tried a warning came up that it is not safe.--I am running windows 10 . 64 bit.
Any advice please ??--- regards---peter

Make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft Safety Scanner.
Make sure you get the scanner straight from Microsoft and not CNet or some other adware-infected site.

Is the "not safe" warning coming from your antivirus?
What are you using for antivirus?
Is it the one that comes with Windows or another one?

Hi Jenny --- I removed the anti-virus as you suggested and " hey presto" it downloaded ok without any comment. Thanks a lot for your usual prompt and good advice -- regards -- peter.
