I have completed (I think) all tasks in Day 1, 10 am, and have stood twice now outside the door of the hotel. Supposedly, I change to Day 1 12pm. I see no change, visually. I go into the hotel, into the dining room, but only Mosely is still there, reading his newspaper. No Buthane, or Wilkes anywhere. Any hints as to what is wrong here? Interesting game; hope I can finish this one! Doc Russ wave

Hi Doc..... laugh Did you get the hanger, masking tape, black marker and Prince James' business card? The masking tape isn't necessary in this time slot, but it's handy to pick it up.

Did you call Prince James? Did you examine the hotel register? Did you examine the van outside in the courtyard? Be sure you exhaust all the discussion with everyone you come across.

Best wishes, Witchen =O) smile

Good one Pokey! laugh Also, Russ, you must overhear those two ladies (Lady Howard and Estelle) talking in the museum and talk to Madame Girard in the lobby also.

Love, Witchen =O)

Russ,

You will definitely need that marker later on for another puzzle. So pick it up when Jean is away from his desk. The marker is definitely an important part of the puzzle! wave wave

I’m stuck at this point. The w.th. states, “if you position yourself between the Fountain and the white house
near the approach to the Bookstore, you can look upward, and see a clear
view of the upper level and battlements of a small castle. This castle is
the Tour Magdala

I have tried for an hour to see that castle; can’t see it! I see the white house by the entrance to the bookstore, and the hotel, of course, but no castle. And even if I did, how would I find the entrance to go to the roof later in the game? Help, please!!

Russ, from the front of the hotel, go forward past the fountain. On your left is the big residence that Advgamer talks about. Go all the way to the wall at the end of the street, and when you get there the view should change and you are standing on grass facing a slope. Go up the slope and at the top you will see a sign saying "Entree". Go left around the corner of the building and there is a door, which is the door to the Tower. There are stairs inside which to up to the roof.

And it doesn't matter if you don't see the Abbe on top first--at least I didn't. There are quite a few actions in this game which will give you points toward your final total, but aren't necessary to complete the game.....
