To MaG. Following your WT when stuck and can you help? What is a Copy King? I take it you mean copy machine and I cannot for the life of me find it in the office where you turn on a light.

Have found and read wastebasket paper
looked at rolladex
tried locked file, got file on top
got key card
found file box on desk but have nothing
to put in it

and am now stuck on looking for that Copy King to get another sheet of paper. Where am I going wrong.

PS still moving along in Grim Fandango:)

Glad you're moving along on GF - great game - my first keyboard game. lol

Yes the copy king is the copier and it is not inside the office. laugh

From The Arrangement walkthrough:

Go left, go forward 2 times towards the elevator. Turn left facing a door, move cursor to right of Johnson's door and click the diagonal arrow cursor.

Turn on the light switch on right wall. Look close at top box of Copy King. Move cursor on top of box and take a paper.

Ah found that copier and yes Glynn was a bit tricky. However, I should read Mag's WT more carefully:) Thanks Mag for the tip.

Going around in circles - what have I missed?
Am at the starburst puzzles and have answered all the questions correctly on two of the starbursts but when I try to access the third - I do not get a hand cursor to open it to answer puzzles. Have tried going back to a save to retrace my steps but for some reason, once I have finished a starburst cannot seem to do it over again. So do not know how to get all three starbursts answered to that door will open. Help help

The cursor here is tricky. If I remember correctly when you're done with one trivia puzzle still in zoom mode, see if you have a cursor that goes to the next one. Move the cursor to right or left of screen. Experiment and see.

I tried everything and still could not do it so went further back in the game and played through to this point again - this time (don't know what I did differently but it worked! And am now stuck on the cardboard puzzle.

Not clear on a couple of issues. When you say right wall is that as I am looking at the screen or as I enter the door into room?

And have mapped out the puzzle on the right side as I look at my screen but there seems to be 7 dark spaces needed and 13 blank spaces needed but the squares have only 16 spaces. What am I confusing here?

Doesn't matter, as long as you duplicate the pictures on puzzles on the same side of the wall.

There's 2 puzzles per wall - that might be confusing you. smile The 13 and 7 spaces woozy me.

Lilac, also notice that you have one less black square than you need to complete the last puzzle! eek

But you should be able to get around that pretty easily, as you just tracked down what you need to get that extra square not very long ago... luck

Finally have arrived at the puzzle of the rooms and the metal door. Took me awhile to figure out just how the puzzle worked and all the buttons etc.

Now have all the rooms matched up with the pictures on the WT but for some reason the metal door does not open. What am I missing now?

Also pay attention to the floor plans that have the doors in them - one side of the room the door is OPEN and the other side of the room, the door is CLOSED. Good Luck! smile smile

Lilac, the placement of small items is important too--I overlooked the fact that a couple of the things were set at an angle rather than straight, and that held me back for ages...

Ok guys will give the hints and ideas the go over again. Re the doors - found two rooms with doors open or maybe same room from different angles and have closed both doors or the line that indicated doors as was suggested by another game player and still the metal door is not open.

Back to the drawing board.

The metal door should be closed (solid black lines) and the entry door should be opened (no lines). You can check the furnitures to see which is the front door and which is the back metal door. smile
I know - it's very confusing.
