TOP TEN THINGS YOU NEVER HEAR IN CHURCH...

10. Hey! It's my turn to sit in the front pew.

9. I was so enthralled, I never noticed your sermon went 25 minutes over time.

8. Personally I find witnessing much more enjoyable than golf.

7. I've decided to give our church the $500 a month I used to send to TV evangelists.

6. I volunteer to be the permanent teacher for the Junior High Sunday School class.

5. Forget the denominational minimum salary, let's pay our pastor so he can live like we do.

4. I love it when we sing hymns I've never heard before!

3. Since we're all here, let's start the service early.

2. Pastor, we'd like to send you to this Bible seminar in the Bahamas.

1. Nothing inspires me and strengthens my commitment like our annual stewardship campaign!

TOP TEN BAD THINGS ABOUT HAVING A SUMMER TIME SHARE WITH DARTH VADER...

10. Claims those long-distance calls to the Death Star aren't his.

9. Uses Jedi powers to shake up your root beer right before you open it.

8. He's always accusing you of hiding his asthma inhaler.

7. Claims he paid you the rent "a long, long time ago."

6. Dances around in nothing but cape and cowboy hat while doing "Darth Brooks" routine.

5. For once he could use Force to lift his wet towel off the couch.

4. That scary music that plays when he enters a room gets old real fast.

3. You feel like an idiot saying, "No, Darth isn't here. He's on the ice planet Hoth."

2. Not easy cleaning burnt Ewok fur off the barbecue grill.

1. Constantly doing his lame James Earl Jones impression.

```````````````````
TOP TEN REASONS TO GO TO WORK NAKED...
1. Your boss is always yelling, "I wanna see your ass in here by 8:00!"
2. Can take advantage of computer monitor radiation to work on your tan.
3. "I'd love to chip in, but I left my wallet in my pants."
4. To stop those creepy guys in Marketing from looking down your blouse.
5. You want to see if it's like the dream.
6. So that with a little help from Muzak you can add "Exotic Dancer" to your exaggerated resume.
7. People stop stealing your pens after they've seen where you keep them.
8. Diverts attention from the fact that you also came to work drunk.
9. Gives "bad hair day" a whole new meaning.
10. No one steals your chair.
Welcome to the SOS/different day diner. wink
A girl at work yesterday asked me what day it is.
Being ever the smart aleck that I am, and stating the obvious, I said it's the day after yesterday of course. razz
Someone else kindly gave her a more accurate answer. blush
Then she said I was right.....of course. snicker
Actually I was wrong because THIS is the day after yesterday. slapforehead
What can I say, I didn't have my smart phone with me. duh
Where's a calendar when you need one? taz
I think I'll go search for one......in my bedroom. sleep
Have a cup of coffee everyone, and a happy day.
Hi everyone. Looks like I'm first. Thanks Joe for opening for us. I'm still in the middle of my skin cancer experience. Nothing to report as of today. I have another dr's appointment on Monday to see is the graft worked (I hope). I had an unexpected problem that happened a couple of nights ago that I won't go into. I'll just say it landed me in the ER for a few hours but I'm OK. I need a few prayers that my graft worked. Thank you.
Midgie hearts
Super Sunday ya'll puppy
Beautiful day here. I think we will mostly lay low. Had a very busy day yesterday, so today will be a good day to veg out. Perhaps some movie watching? Or book reading? Or sleeping? After I make smoothies for the family, of course. wave
Midgy, prayers that your graft is taking. I'm sorry this has been so rough. Hugs!
Hi Space and all!
Ana, hugs my friend. Hope everyone's weekend is really relaxing and fun too!
It's overcast and rather cool for us in the 60s. They expect snow in the mountains north of me thru Tuesday possibly and maybe rain here. We'll see.
My remaining 2 cats are happy and healthy and I am settled into my little home quite nicely. Was having a number of health issues which sent me in for a check up. Saw the vampire and found out I am badly anemic to the point of having to have 2 iron IV infusions a week for 3 weeks starting next week. I had this done 3 or 4 years ago due to the same problem and it really helped. When I had the gastric bypass in 2001 I solved some issues but created others with not being able to absorb nutrients properly. It should help with the constant tired feelings, light headedness and my hair falling out. Hope so.
Everyone have a great week. Looking forward to Thanksgiving and the holidays! turkey
Hi all! I kind of ran away today to go hiking. Merlin was very sick yesterday and Shadow was sick today but thankfully both are feeling their old selves today. Merlin is quite the fighter! lol
It was 64 degrees at Starved Rock today. Beautiful!
Ana, glad they are doing better.
We just watched "Kingsmen"....not what I was expecting by any means.
