In the news paper I read about a 73-old man from los Angeles California who is walking from Alaska to Argentina he walks about 15 miles a day worn out several pairs of shoes he sure has one fancy cart he pushing in his journey I do hope he will be alright. Dianne

I saw a little while ago a 20ish woman setting out to do the journey as well. Maybe somewhere along the 20K miles they will meet.

Maybe they can have lunch if they meet up. guess that it will take a few years. I meet once a grandfather and his grandson biking to Alaska they were from Texas stayed in the same campsite as we were in they were sure nice I made the young fella a hotdog he was such a nice young man. Dianne

It's a 20 thousand mile trip. At 15 miles a day it will take 4 years to get there (21,450 miles) . That's assuming he won't run into troubles.

The girl was planning it to take 5 years I think.
