I can't get the remote to work- any suggestions?

Yes Jenny -- I knew about the number-- but I quite literally can't get the remote to work! I can't turn it on and get the numbers to "enter"

According to Bert Jamin, you take the remote from your inventory and left click to activate it. Btw, the numbers will not show up as you punch them in, but if you put in the right combination it will do the job...

Blondie, if I remember correctly you can't place that remote/antenna when you first find it. Instead search the area for some more gum and a passcard. That should give you some more places to go...

If you already have the passcard, have you used it yet...

Hi Blondie. I kept trying to put the antenna on the remote thingy thinking that was a "clerk". I didn't know for a bit that the clerk was the boxlifter machine. When I got the antenna off of it, I clicked the antenna on the "clerk" and it attached. Hope this helps a little.

thanks Ang -- when I try to put the antenna on the clerk -- it says I have something else to do first. When I try to put the remote on the square openening on the back of the clerk -- nada-- won't do a thing... am I trying to do the right thing??

Did you get the teleguidance device from the storeroom E6? You should have it in your inventory when you put the antenna on the clerk.
Also, I was trying to use the GPS Receiver on the clerk instead of the antenna (it's called the instruction receiver).

Hi KayC -- yes I had (notice HAD) the guidance thingy -- I went in and out of the door to the dressing rooms again (even tho I had already been there) and voila-- the arial worked!
I got as far as finding the body in the sewer, back to the apartment - going to the beach ect ... then when I went to make the vid call to Thanos-- NO CARD! Dunno where I left it to make room to pick something else up - sooooo back to the beginning........ <img border="0" alt="" title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" />
