I am really enjoying playing this latest adventure, and I got the electronic download for half price in their recent sale, so even better! My question is that I have bought a few things in the gift shop, but didn't realise until it was too late that only 1 item can be gift wrapped, which I now assume is for Ned, but I wanted to get him a nicer gift than a plain old mug! Is there any way of discarding the wrapped gift and getting an alternative? There was no warning about this in the game, so a bit irritating!

I don't think you can change this. I believe there are (at least) three slightly different endings in the narration at the end, depending on what you have gotten Ned as a gift. It makes no difference, really, to the game as a whole - it just adds a bit of interest at the end of the game.

If I'm wrong about this, hopefully someone will correct me, but I don't think you can take back your gift-wrapped item once you have selected it.

OK Marion, thank you! Just a bit annoying that you don't know you can't do it differently once you've done it the first time! wave
