I've been back down the man hole (just in case) to see the dead body .. but I'm still not getting any reaction time for Nick to run and hide.
Weird thing is -- all the gum is still in inventory when I go back in the room (saved game) but the GPS unit will still show the "bad guys'--
Prob?? I'd still like to follow through from the meeting with Tony etc ..... any suggestions on what I'm goofing at?

found old thread from March with suggestion to hold left arrow key =- before I yelp for again ... going back to try that!

Well .... it worked holding the left arrow key down -- Nick ran to the sewer - and I saw the bad guys take Tony..... but......didn't chew up the gum and throw the unit at the car... I DIED!

Check out this walkthrough by Rosemary and Gordon from Quandaryland. It has a bunch of "if this happens, you didn't do that" sequences that may help you...
