Diane, I looked to see if there was a patch for this game, but didn't see one. If no-one comes up with a save for you, maybe it would help to quit the game and then come back to the save before where you are having trouble. Maybe playing up to the problem spot again will help... luck

Diane, are you clicking on the Andes or on the bar at the top of the screen? I played this game a long time ago and don't quite remember all the movement aspects of it. Soren's WT says to click on the bar at the top of the screen to jump to another location.

If you click on the bar at the top of the screen, it drops down and gives you the places you can jump to. I tried going to another place but it still locks up. Thanks all I'm kind of at a loss. Tried going back to the save before but just can't get past this point. Diane

Are you playing it on XP?? If so, there is a thread in 'Glitches" with a site to go to for the 'FIX'.

I had freezes, sparkling lights while on the gondola, and kicks to desktop every few minutes, with the DVD version.

Thought I saved the site, but can't find it. Just do a search for 'Legacy of Time".

"EDIT" Here is Jenny100's post that got me going.

Here is a reference

They recommended turning audio acceleration all the way down. Someone with DirectX 9 said he had to revert to DirectX 8.1 to get it working.

Thanks all I'm playing on xp. Didn't have any prablems until now maybe I should have put it on my 95. I'll try turnning down the acceleration, if that doesn't work maybe the Direct 9 is the prablem. Haven't a clue how to get back to 8.1. Uninstall the 9 and then download the 8.1 again? Thanks Diane
