One of the first games to get my interest in gaming. It was loaded on my brothers machine so I only played it some.. I recently came across the cd's and decided to load it up on my windows 8.1.. I used the installer by Sierra hoping it would work... I am now at chapter 2!!! What a fun game...great for these cold days. bravo

Well it's from the mid 1990's so it's low resolution compared to modern games. You tend to get used to the low resolution after playing a while though, and it's nice to see live actors.

GK2 The Beast Within is one of my favorite games of all time. It would be a great game to remake with todays graphics.

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

I agree SQF. It would be a great game to remake. Too bad everyone is much older now.

I just wish I could get it for Mac. My win xp laptop is so heavy to pull out and have to raise the back end, so it doesn't over heat. cry

You would not get live actors with a remake. And a remake would probably end up looking like Moebius or one of Phoenix Online's other games. It would be much better to have a completely new Gabriel Knight game rather than a remake. Or if they had to remake another GK game, remake GK3 with its clunky control scheme and chunky early 3D characters.
