Turns out I had done most of Eternal Throne's main story. Been long enough I forgot doing it. Last few parts had a bug. It tells you do do a flashpoint normally a group thing in solo mode. I did it bit then I didn't get next quest. A couple hours later someone told me how to get the missing quest. Goto space ship and click on the terminal in it. So after getting the missing quest and doing flash point on a Chiss planet I parked my character back in his ship. I'm now all caught up until they continue the story later this year. Next quest will probably be from that terminal on ship.

During one of the missions you have to side either with the Empire and get Sith Warrior companion or Republic and get Republic Trooper companion. Seeing I was playing a Sith Warrior I had to go with Empire and his companion back.

Even if it hadn't been spoiled I'd have known who the traitor is. its painfully obvious and therefore annoying that your character is blind to who it is.

During second flashpoint you get Imperial Agent companion.

However, having seen the traitor in action I have a theory (which I think most other players agree with), that the traitor isnt. That in reality he's joined the new group of villains (who we have actually met before) in order to infiltrate them and in the end he will turn on them. And he doesnt tell you because than there would be no drama.

New twist: the quest to regain smuggler companions Corso and Risha is only available to smugglers. The new quest to regain Andronikos is only available to sith inquisitors.

People wanted more class specific quests (including me) so this is apparently how we're getting them. Looks like instead of all classes getting all companions its back to only the original classes getting them. Which actually make sense. Nobody really needs every companion that ever existed.

What disappoints me is the new group thing is an operation, not a flash point. As a nonsubcriber I don't have access to operations. And doesn't seem like it has anything to do with finding the traitor.

It's double experience week
and the plague has struck Tatooine

Just read the update introduced a bug:
If you romanced Corso, or Risha or Andronokis before KOTFE than also Romanced Theron during KOTFE then went back to one of the others during these new quests, you get an extra quest you cannot complete because of course Theron is not available at this point in the story. Their saying to ignore the quest until they can fix it it later update. Didn't say if same bug happens if you romanced Koth but made him mad by being too dakrside so he left. But I would assume so.

There is one thing that annoys me. That's the many cut scenes in which I catch up with my target then just stand there and watch them run away. Makes me look stupid. I'm a Jedi Knight or Sith Warrior do I use the force to fling myself after them or hurl my light saber at them? Nope. I'm a Jedi Consular or Sith Inqusitor do I use the Force to paralyses them? Nope. I'm a Smuggler or Imperial agent, do I fire a paralyzing dart at them? Of course not that would make sense. I'm a Trooper do I harpoon them? Don't be silly. I'm a Bounty Hunter to I carbon freeze them not at all. No whatever I am I forget I have a skill or skills for just the situation and do nothing. Yes I know its to continue the plot. But it makes the hero look stupid. So it needs to be a plot point that no one ever uses in any game ever again.

Agreed, that view when you know you could have taken down the foe is very annoying, especially when your in combat mode.

In Skyrim they have a cut scene kill shot feature that I absolutely hate and was so glad when someone came up with a mod to make it optional. In battle, when you're about to take care of a foe, they stop the action and integrate a particularly dramatic death scene: beheading your foe, catching them in the head with an arrow and so forth. The problem is that the combat action around you doesn't stop. So, if your like me who fights down to the last thread of health against multiple foes, this can be terribly frustrating. Suddenly you're thrown into a cut scene while at the same time your character is being sliced to pieces by the remaining attackers. You come out of the cut scene just in time to see your character fall to the ground dead! A mouse shattering experience. lol

Alas poor mouse.
It had nothing to do with that bad design decision.

That sort of thing rarely happens in SWTOR. Although I did just happen to me doing Knights of the Eternal Throne on a Sith Inquisitor. Killed all the enemies. Clicked on the object not a person in this case, got the cut scene. And when it was over I discovered a new mob had appeared during the cut scene. I always heal up before cut scenes if I can so I was at full health and able to deal with the mob. But I had taken my hand off the keys and mouse so for a few seconds I was defenseless.

Most of the time you can't start a cut scene in the middle of a fight, you'll be told you're in combat and can't talk to that person or click on that object.

In the original Guild Wars there is a mission where you die as part of the story but you're brought back to life by the spirits who normally take the dead to the after life because its not actually your time to die. If you have a necromancer who has undead minions in your group the necromancers death causes the minions to go rogue and they will attack the party during the cut scene. Thats normal for now masterless minions to go wild but they should have considered that when making this cutscene. They never did fix it and now they dont have anyone to do bug fixes since everyone went to Guild Wars 2 or quit. If there was a minion master the rest of the party would ask everyone skip the cutscene to avoid the deaths and minions attacking. The plot still advances. SWTOR allows that in group quests too.
