Hi I hope you can give me some information. I have just bought a new laptop which is windows 10. I still have my old laptop which is window 7. I installed Steam on my new windows 10. I am having so much trouble trying to access my games on Steam, it has turned into a night mare. It will not recognise my password I have changed to a new password it still will not let me in. Also trying contact Steam is crazy. I was wondering can I have the same account on two different laptops. I can still play my steam games on the old laptop but I was wanting to use my new laptop. I hope I have explained this properly. It is making wish I had never bought this new one.
Hope you can help you always come up with some solution.
Regards
Margaret

I do steam on two different machines. when you go to log into steam it does not recognize you and will ask you to log in with their code... they will send you an email. I have found that copy and paste of that code works as typing it does not... does this help

You have to verify any new computer with your steam account. On the automatic defence system that Steam uses it sees just a new PC trying to access your account.

Thanks to you all, I have eventually got access to my Steam account. Phew!!! It took perseverance LOL
Just a note While I am here I am not impressed with Windows 10.
Thanks again
Margaret
