Hello all. I am just past the lightening room and I need the metal plate to get through the door. I have the scarf and I know the plate is in the scarf, but how do I get it out? Please help <img border="0" alt="cry" title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" />

Hi, Tsavorite!

Did you examine the scarf in your inventory? That should do the trick!

Good luck!

Hi Susie! It doesn't give me that option. I can drag it out of inventory, but that's it. Do I combine the Magnifying glass with it?

Hi, Tsavorite!

Did you examine the scarf when you first picked it up and did George mention the metal plate? If so, have you scrolled through your inventory to see if the metal plate is there? I just finished the game myself, but I'm sure if you look at an item and there is another item hidden inside, they'll automatically separate themselves.

Susan's correct (as usual!). happydance
Once you've obtained the scarf just LOOK AT IT inside inventory ... don't try to drag it outside. The metal plate which is hidden inside the scarf should pop out automatically ... also into your inventory.

Thanks guys! I think I screwed up then. I don't think George mentioned a metal plate. I'm going to have to start over again. <img border="0" alt="cry" title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" /> [blip]

Hi, Tsavorite!

Don't start again just yet. What happens when you examine the scarf in your inventory? Have you scrolled through your entire inventory to make sure the metal plate isn't there? Give that a try first.

Hi, Tsavorite!

That's great <cheering wildly>! I didn't run into any dead ends while playing BS3, so I figured the game wouldn't have let you progress without all of the necessary items.

Have fun with the rest of the game!

Susan

Now I have another question. I am at the outside of the castle in Prauge and at the big tree. I know I'm supposed to run to another crate area, but where is it? I keep getting shot. Is it across horizontially from the tree? Or do I have to run past the guard? Can you guys tell me? Pleeeeeeze?? smile

Go to the opening at right of the tree, cut across horizontally to the opening across the clearing. The guard should be at top of the screenn. Good luck!

The guard on the right will stay where he is (with his dog)--it's the guard on the left that you have to look out for. This is what the walkthrough says about this part: SPOILER

Drop down on left garden. While staying in shadows, move to the other left wall. Climb up and down to the other side.

From a top view, see the guard moves around with the dog. Time your movement when the guard and dog are far from you. Creep to the shadow on the wall of the left raised courtyard, climb the steps and stay in the shadows away from the spotlight. Walk the shadowy area going down to the trash bins.

Jenny, not in the spotlight...but where I drop off the wall next to the big tree. There's a guard there and I can't seem to get through the door. He always shoots me.

While you are at the tree area, there's an opening on the right to get to an open courtyard.

This open courtyard has a guard on top of the screen that paces back and forth guarding the entry on top of the screen.
There is an opening at right of the open courtyard.

This where you want to go - Just creep or run from left to right while the guard's has his abck on you.

Good luck!

Do I have to get through the door the guard is in front of? Or through something on the right? I just can't figure this out

Okay, MaG, I have another problem. I'm at the guard with the caged dog. I throw the burger to the dog and it runs to get it. I try to go the far end of the big crate (top of screen) I've tried running and creeping, but that guard gets me everytime. What am I doing wrong?

After throwing the burger to the dog, wait until the dog walks away and is not seen at all. This means he is eating the yummy burger.

The guard should now be complacent and will turn towards the dog cage.

I crept here - using the dark perimeter of the area until I got out. Watch out for the guard next door - remember him - the one that was guarding the north side of the last area you asked about. He is behind the grilled door.

BTW - don't do what I did - I held my breath while doing this and I turned blue. laugh

MaG, I'm sorry to have to bother you with this...but...I now have the blond wig and have confused and scared the guards smile . I'm outside and got the security card, but I can't get back in! I went to the big door by the jeep and limos, but for some reason, I can't look at the door, or listen or try to open it. I had to do the same thing George did to get to the guard with the caged dog. Can you help me...again?

Get Nico back to that building where the security guard who gave you the security card was standing before.
This is the other side of the courtyard where the guard was pacing and you had to creep across to the crate area.
Enter the building and there will be exits to the right or to the left.
Click on either one and you will be back to the courtyard between the tree and crate areas. smile

I'm in the square now and I'm supposed to find a rope hanging off a scaffolding. The only scaffolding I found had an old lady sitting on a bench nearby and I didn't see any rope. Where is it?

On the upper level of the scaffolding toward the front of the building.

You saw it hanging on the railing in the cutscene.

I go to the top level on the scaffolding, but the old lady always catches me. Is there something I should do to distract her?
