Ok I have not been keeping up with all the new things on this site.
At one time I read all the post knew everything there was to Adventure games.
Now ,,not so much...
I have all the old games that I love to play ,but my new PC won't play them.
Is there a site I can down load older adventure games??/ Ron..........

I would recommend GOG. They have a good selection of older adventure games, and they have also been tweaked so that they will run on current operating systems.

I bought a few games from GOG, including GK 1, 2 and 3. They all work on my Win10.

Can anyone say anything about Win10 and any disc games?

The only one I could get installed from disk is Oblivion. I tried at least 10 other adventure games, none worked.

Please discuss the games that run/don't run on a certain platform in Glitches.

Depending on the age of the game, this could be due to incompatible disc-based DRM rather than the games themselves. Windows 10 blocks certain "newer" versions of SecuROM and SafeDisc because they were deemed to be a security risk and caused instability on some systems. You can read more about the problem here

Of course if the games were originally made for Windows 95/98 they may have other incompatibility problems. If the games were made before 2003, the problem is unlikely due to be due to the DRM, which hadn't gotten so ugly and invasive until 2003.
