Hi,

I successfully completed the barrel racing event and did it in 9.5 seconds! Now I am having trouble doing the roping! I can't seem to get 4 out of 5 times roping the saw horse! What is the best way of doing it?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Well, I finally received my lariat, and now I am trying to do this Petroglyph Map Puzzle. Am having difficulties finding all of the petroglyphs. Also, can't find that area where I am supposed to see the center area of the rock formation and see a log, and be able to get up to that ledge! Please help me with this puzzle. Where am I to find these petroglyphs? Found some of them, but not all.

Thanks!

Linda

Linda, if you go to the base of the rock, in the middle of the flat space, you should get an "up" arrow if you put your cursor near the top of the screen. Following that up arrow will take you up to the area where more petroglyphs are located...

Hi,

Am stuck with this ring puzzle. I tried putting the rings from smallest to largest -left to right and have it look like the display of the white rings on the left. I thought that I was finished, but guess not. Please give me some helpful hints as to how I can get this puzzle solved! I tried looking at the WT-on the completed puzzle, but that didn't solve this !

Thanks for the help in advance.

I had a nasty time with this one too, Linda--mostly because I overlooked one little detail.

All the rings in a row should be like the white one at the far left. To arrange the colors, look at the narrow strips of wood that separate the rows and make sure the color of the rings matches that of the wood... luck

Hi,

Tried the bead puzzle and I still didn't hear Nancy say anything about it being correct! I tried the same colors and the smallest to largest and color of the strips of wood, but nothing! Any other ideas, or a save?

Thanks,

Okay Linda, I assume that you are working on the rings? The first ring on the right is white, then just going straight across, the next color should be the blue ones, then the red and lastly the green ones. You have to follow the pattern that is already established by the white rings. Some of the designs are really similar. Once you have the pattern fixed, size your rings, smallest to largest, smallest I think was a quarter moon shape. So, from left to right, smallest to largest. If the designs match and the colors are in their correct areas, your only remaining problem will be the sizes.
I hope this is what you are looking for. Good luck!

Check those patterns, Linda. As Sue says, a couple of them look very much alike, and I got held up here for quite a while because I had two rings in the wrong places... blush

Hi,

I redid the Bead Puzzle when I wasn't so tired and discovered that I had two beads in the wrong spaces and not the correct size! Successfully completed the other puzzles and am stuck trying to escape the saboteur at the end of the game. I keep getting caught and wondered if there was a faster way out to get the rock and throw at him? Have enjoyed this game! One of the better Nancy Drew games I have played!

Many thanks for the helpful hints!

Hi, Linda!

You're not supposed to throw a rock at the saboteur. Did you notice the hole in the ground on the way to discovering the treasure? The idea is to switch the colored stones above the doorways so he'll go through the wrong doorway and fall into the pit.

Good luck!

Susan

It's a tricky ending. I can remember just wanting him to stop nattering on so I could run away. Do you know your way around the area yet? Have you seen the room that has a rug? Let me know how familiar you are wandering around and I'll give you a hint if you want. The other thing I did was turn the sound off so I couldn't hear him taunting me, he got me twice before I did that.
By the way, nice job finishing up the ring display. They were a bit tricky. Sue

Hi Sue and Tex,

No, I didn't have a chance to throw a rock or boulder at the jerk, but after several tries, and Second Chances, I was able to successfully switch the rocks and he fell into the pit! Thanks for your helpful hints! Am looking forward to the next Nancy Drew mystery! Any idea when it may come out?

A good game!
