Wasn't quite sure to put this, but... Am I the only one who would appreciate more written w/ts than video w/ts?

Sure, they can be helpful, but.

I am sure that many would appreciate more written walkthroughs than video ones. Video walkthroughs (I'm thinking of YouTube here) are appealing to some because if you have enough viewers, it's possible to get some revenue as a result. Written walkthroughs take a great deal of time and energy and I admire the folks who can write them and do it well. The games come out so thick and fast that there's just no way that the writers can keep up with everything, even if they wanted to.

Marian is correct, there is no money for them to write them. It's very labor intensive. Some of these youtubers are making a killing doing playthroughs, walkthroughs and video reviews. It's fast and profitable.

Yep. It's quite the eye opener. I read an article recently about a guy who had made about four million dollars from YouTube, due to his tremendous following. I believe he is Swedish. Not everyone makes good money from YouTube, but it can certainly be a nice supplemental income for a lot of folks, if not a full-time income.

Well I DEFINITELY prefer the type of walkthrough MaG treats us to and would be more than willing to pay her for them !!

Foe me what's nice about a video walk thru you can see how to find what you are missing or how to get where you are going safely!

I prefer a written walk through most of the time... I usually can find the area I am having trouble with without seeing more than I want. But at times watching a video I can see what I missed or am doing wrong.
