The comb and hair on the bathroom sink is not very distinct and although Holmes makes a remark, I cannot pick up the hair. I checked my inventory but it is not there. Can someone help?

welcome to GameBoomers, grannieannie!

Move the cursor slowly under the scissors going down to the edge of the sink. When the cursor turns to a hand - click. smile

Grannieannie,

Just use one thread per game. This way, we know what hints have been given, we can follow your game play better and also not push another thread off the page.
I deleted the other thread you made and edited the title of the thread also.

The most common problem is that you have not completely talked to everyone inside the manor. The most common character is the man sweeping at the banquet room. Go back and see if you need to talk to him about the Frenchman. luck

Be sure also that Watson has finished everything outside or Holmes will not come out. Check the wt and see what you might have missed. smile

I have answered all the questions in quiz 2 correctly but Holmes still says we have made an error. What to do?

Most of the problem here generally:
1. The yes or no is not highlighted.
2. There are 2 letters for Gromsby of the same label but the date is different. Choose the correct one.

Look again and see if that letter think is the correct date.

grannieannie,

Just continue this thread and not start another one. It is best to have one thread per game. That way we can see your gameplay, what answers were given to your questions and more importantly - not push another thread off the page. This might cause other members threads-posts to be missed by other members and help might not be given.

As for your Silver Earring problem - send me your saved game and I will see what I can do on that quiz. I will not be able to tell you what your problem is because it doesn't save the game in THE quiz but before the start of the quiz.

Not knowing how to send a saved game is just something that everyone has to learn to do when they are new to the forums--we've all been through it! If you look here , at the Hints Guidelines at the top of the Hints index page, you will see directions for both sending and downloading a game... luck
