I'm in downtown Manhattan and I've talked with Mr Greenburg, Brian, Bill and Brenda. The walkthrough says to make sure to get a few days off. I haven't seen that option in the dialoge. help

thanks

You get that dialogue after going through the 'can I ask you something' over and over. Try talking the head off your boss again. laugh

Go back up and talk to him again.

Have fun.

Hi, everyone!

I just started the game last night, and I'm stuck! So far, I've spoken to Bob, the Police Department, the wacko Guru in the park, the guitar player in the park, Mrs. Oswald and Tommy. Tommy and I have exchanged action figures and he's given me a picture of his father. I've spoken to Christine and the last time I checked, she wasn't online. Methinks that Christine isn't who she says she is <evil grin>!

I can sit in one of the SatCars, but "I'm not quite sure where I should go". That's my problem!

Thanks for a helpful push in the right direction!

Susan

How about the "Lower East Side", Susan--does that sound like a good destination... think

Hi, Jenny and MaG!

Thanks!

Jenny, I'm not sure if I've found the Lower East Side yet. I'll have another look.

MaG, I think Peter did say he needs to go to work, but I have no idea where that might be :-)!

Back I go!

I nearly missed the destination stand in that cab. Move your cursor to bottom of screen. I think they were hiding it on purpose! lol

Hi, MaG!

I must have missed something because I do not get a destination in the SatCar. I'll backtrack and see if I can figure out what.

Hi, MaG!

I went back and retraced my steps, and discovered that I neglected to show the alien doll to Bob. Once I did that, two destinations showed up in the SatCar. Of course, I can't find anything to do at those destinations, so it's back to the drawing board.

I have to figure out how I identify myself to gain access to the office building, and the only person I found to talk to at the other location was a hooker. Some guy was yelling at me, but I couldn't figure out where he was.

I wonder why all of the exits aren't marked. Some show up in a balloon when you run your cursor over the screen while others don't show up at all until you click on all corners and discover that you're able to move in other directions.

Susan,

This game is sooooo dialogue based. Almost all the clues and triggers are done through talking.

Talk to Claire as much as you can and repeat the 'can I ask you something' over and over. Eventually you will hit that dialogue that will get you going. After this patience straining part - you can ignore her.

As for the yelling guy - there is a park that is hidden left of that small structure with posters close to the corner by the car. I found this by mistake also since I wanted to stop that taunting so much.

After a while - things will liven up. It's a good game.

Hi, MaG!

I think I've exhausted all conversations with Claire, but I'll go back and double-check.

Thanks for telling me where that obnoxious twit is hiding. I thought I'd run my cursor over the entire screen while standing beside the car, but I guess I must have missed the park.

Hi, everyone!

I'm stuck again <sigh>! I finally made it to the office. I've talked to Brian twice (once at his desk and once in the kitchen). I've talked to Mr. Greenberg and I've talked to Bill. I need to upload the disk I got from the guy in the Nuclear Cafe, but I can't get Bill away from the upload terminal. I even offered to get him something to eat, but every time I try to leave the office, Mr. Greenberg asks me if I'm leaving already because I just got there.

Oh yes, I flipped a switch in the fuse box near the elevator from "off" to "on", but nothing seemed to happen.

Any hints? Thanks!

Susan

Hi, MaG!

I've gone back to see Mr. Greenberg and exhausted all conversation topics. I'll give it another shot, though, because perhaps I missed something.

Thanks!

Hi, MaG!

After posting my last message, I did go back to Mr. Greenberg's office and managed to get some time off. I guess I didn't exhaust all conversation topics after all <VBG>!

I still haven't managed to wrestle Bill away from the upload terminal yet, so I decided to call Mrs. Oswald and pay a visit to good old Bob.

Thanks for your help :-)!

I have no idea who Christine really is (I'm sure she's not who she's portraying herself to be), but I think it would be a riot if she turned out to be that obnoxious twit beside the wrecked car <eg>!

Yup, all I had to do was feed good old Bill, and he deserted his post :-)!

I'm now on my way to JFK!

Hi, MaG!

I had a lovely flight ... thanks :-)! Now I'm back in Brooklyn having an interesting conversation with Mrs. Oswald and Tommy.

I thought TLJ contained a lot of dialogue, but TMOS has that one beat hands down!

Hi All - am stuck in backroom with Cypher in Nuclear Cafe. WT says to give Cypher the "radio play Orson Wells tape." Would that be the VCR tape or the VCR machine - neither of these works. What should I be giving Cypher? Thanks for any help you can give me. thanks <img border="0" alt="[santa]" title="" src="graemlins/santa.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[holidays]" title="" src="graemlins/holidays.gif" />

GG, It is a tape that you got at the Antique shop at the Village. You can find it on the bookshelf left of the counter with the cash register.

GeeGee...I believe in the part you are at you should be giving him the audio cassette tapes, not the VCR tape. Did you find the tapes that MaG stated that is on the bookshelf in the store?

Try again and click. The cutscene might take a while to show up.

---- did you destroy the complex with the mine before you went up the blimp?

The climb to the blimp is automatic if you did the mine correctly.

The WT doesn't say how to destroy the complex with the mine. I attached the mine to the rope and then the rope to the blimp's cable. Now what? Do I do something to the rope before climbing back into the blimp? What? Thanks for your help once again. smile

I just replayed this part.

If you have done everything before this by checking the computer room above the complex, you should just be able to click the rope to the mine.
Then he will say 'where will I tie the other end to'. This time you click the rope on the rope attached to the blimp.
After this - an auto scene is seen - the complex is destroyed.

If you do not see this - it means that you have not completely done everything in the computer room. luck

I have a different problem with moment of silence. I can't find the messenger that supposed to be on the table with the computer. I have exhausted all dialogue with lou and have approached the table behind peter, but it doesn't show up.

Hi, Jackie!

If memory serves me correctly (I'm also playing TMOS and was where you are now about a week ago), the messenger is on the table just to the right of where Peter is talking to Lou. I had problems finding it as well.

Hi Meltsi,

Is this your first time at the airport to depart? If so - the ticket or flight check-book to leave is taken from your office (another dialogue-puzzle).

If you are trying to go to Lunar 5 - that ticket is given to you in your apartment.

Please tell us more as to what you want to do.

Hi, Meltsi!

You can't buy a ticket to Lunar 5. You must win it in a lottery.

Have you found Graham's diary yet, and discussed it with his wife? After speaking to the woman at the airport, bring her attention to the homeless people hanging around the window so you can have a peek at her surveillance camera. Have you returned to the Lower East Side and talked to Cypher and Mr. Huntington again? Did you have an argument with Christine and then apologized?

It's weird when you get the lottery ticket, because you do some things in your apartment and then you have to actually try to exit the apartment, and then the cut scene starts where you find out that you won the lottery. So maybe if you went back to your apartment and did anything there that you have left to do, and then exited, you would trigger that scene.

What lies behind you and what lies before you are tiny matters compared to what lies within you.
