Gibbous - A Cthulhu Adventure is a PC Mac Linux comedy point 'n click love letter to classic-era Lucas Arts adventures, Hitchcock, HP Lovecraft, and many, many others. A lighthearted spoof of the Cthulhu Mythos, Gibbous will have you controlling 3 protagonists, dealing with strange cultists, ancient voodoo, and Dead Cthulhu himself. Well, "dead" is just a matter of opinion... But you really came here for the bullet points, didn't you? Alright, here ya go:

Lynthorpe: Heh, yeah, I'm pretty new to crowdfunding myself, but the concept's pretty simple - your card doesn't get charged unless the project is fully funded. That it gets funded I have no way of guaranteeing. If it DOES get funded, I can guarantee that two guys and one gal in sunny (for now) Transylvania, Romania will work their chair-shaped butts off to create a full length game that you'll enjoy at least as much, if not more than you did the demo  Aaaah, I think I've awoken some kind of evil dormant PR specialist inside of me, need to go draw something to cleanse my soul... Again, everyone supporting us, either by backing, sharing, or just kind words - thank you so, so much. We're just 3 people who've been working on this game for the last year in semi-complete anonimity, and it's so heart-warming to see the overwhelming love the adventure game community has been showing Gibbous. We are humbled.

Hey mbday! Sorry, we should make that more obvious. We are really hoping May 2017 - but it really, really depends on how much funding we get. If we get more funds we can hopefully get more people on board and really stick to the schedule a lot nicer, while providing more content. What's really time consuming in Gibbous is painting the backgrounds, and animating the characters, but more the former than the latter. Right now I'm kind of an orchestra man, painting backgrounds, animating and designing characters, making the music, writing the dialog and plot and designing the puzzles (I drew a line in the sand at vacuuming, screw that). Hopefully we'll be able to hire more artists so that I can just provide them with a sketches and color scripts and they can help with the heavy lifting - that is, painstakingly painting all the details into the world. If there are any other questions, I am happy to answer, full-on PR mode here

Thanks! Yup, still pulling hard to get press and backers.
In other news, we've now re-uploaded the new and improved demo that has a few things fixed and, most importantly, isn't capped at 24 fps - it now goes as high as your rig can take it. So, if you were feeling the game was a little stutterish, or you didn't try it yet, now's the time to see it really flow.

Soooo, in Gibbous news: so excited to bring you this update: Gibbous Update #3...in which I tackle a lot of things, but first and foremost, something that is a personal highlight for me, and got me incredibly excited: Don Thacker, creator of Starr Mazer, will be voicing our very own Don R. Ketype! I can't tell you guys how excited I am about this. I've been blown away by Starr Mazer eversince they launched their Kickstarter a year ago, and this opportunity to work with Don is so cool for us. And not only that - we are officially announcing a Starr Mazer / Gibbous crossover - that might mean anything from simple references to having characters from one game cross over into the other one! I was just on Starr Mazer TV an hour ago, and I'm so happy to be collaborating with such creative people, and nice guys to boot! I can't wait.

Thanks so much, guys!!! We're so giddy about being funded, and having just smashed through two of our stretchgoals: Ultra Fully Voiced, and EFIGS! This means everything in the game will be voice acted, and we'll translate it into French, Italian, German and Spanish! Well, and Romanian, but since that's my native language that's just a nice little extra for our Romanian backers In other news, we'll be live tonight on twitch starting 5 PM CET / 12 PM EST, streaming some live art, answering questions and generally having fun, join us if you feel like it on our channel!Also, tomorrow night the campaign ends, so join us for an extra special, longer stream starting 3PM CET/10 AM EST, also on our Twitch channel. We'll also play the demo and discuss it thoroughly, and celebrate a successful campaign together with all our lovely backers.
