I thought that I would like a bit of nostalgia and re-live tomb raider 1 as starters. Silly me!!!--- I downloaded from GOG but no way can I see how to launch it.it seems it has to be configured in some way but my aging years forbid me to even try. Is there an easy instruction from the knowledgeable forum??--many regards --petjo

Let's wait for GOG users to help us.

It seems that Tomb Raider games has problems as shown here.

That's too bad petjo. Hope someone can help! I still have the original TR1 installed on my old computer and can play it! It's amazing how much the new games have changed. Good Luck! wave

I had no trouble with Tomb Raider 1 from GOG, which uses DOSBox.
The other Tomb Raider games are Windows 95/98 games and can't use DOSBox, so those are more likely to have conflicts.

Did you get an icon on your desktop when you installed the game?

What "configuring" is the game expecting you to do?

Thanks for all your replies
Hi Jenny---- I did get an icon but when I ticked it , nothing happened. Neither did it when I tried to execute it from the file location--- just a whole load items on the menu---Peter
