P.S. Any ideas what I can use to prop open that silly door? or how do I make the magnet stronger to hold it open for me?
There's a cupboard in Gustav's office (quite likely you've GOT the (rather rare) item already in your inventory ?!?

Betty Lou, I see by your earlier post you have the item you need to prop the door. There is a hotspot on the bottom of the door that is a bit tricky to see....Have fun!

Turns out I do not have any cup in my inventory. I have the pestle but have not been able to pick up the mortar. Have seen more than one coffee cup in the offices at Vivetech but cannot pick any of them up either. Just where do I get this "cup" that I can use as a doorstop? Scratching my head over this one.

They are in one of the rooms that are all connected in the church up high on a rack. I want to say you need to turn around when you walk in the room and look up, but I could be mistaken.

I have the cleaner, don't know where I am supposed to use it - back at Vivetech? And I have no "downtown" area on my map nor Marianne's residence, what did I miss?

Good going ... I guess you missed some stuff at Vivatech and returned & did everything there.
B U T Did you read the yellow post-it there ... it's ESSENTIAL (for later) !!

If you like scenic ambience ... wandering around "Downtown" will be a REAL pleasure for you ... actually MUCH more for you to SEE than to DO !
But there IS one thing you MUST DO.
So as not to give you an actual spoiler ... did you CAREFULLY note the P.S. to the page-5 of the printout at Vivatech ??

Haifa weather ... on the whole fairly nice (especially up here on Mount Carmel). Rather similar to coastal California I think but maybe not QUITE as nice. Beautiful Spring and Autumn (Fall in USA I think ?). Hot summers ... not BURNING since it's fairly high up and on the Mediterranean Sea (which tends to produce too much humidity to be pleasant at times). Cold but generally VERY FAR from freezing winters ... Coldish but nice now !!
P.S.
*** Lots of Biblical associations between Haifa & the prophet Elijah !!
*** Also I had an uncle who was born in London (must have been about 1890 ???) who when he was in his 20's or so emmigrated to Sacramento for some sort of health reasons, married and lived there for the rest of his life. His name was Mathews (my late mother's 'maiden name') ... but he had no children or family and died there decades ago !!

Betty Lou, the clue for what you're searching for downtown is found on the page printed on the printer on Vivatech.

Remedy - truly a delightful game! Great use of music, appropriately atmospheric.

I'm now standing by, prepared rag in hand, ready to clean... something.

Can't wait to find out what!

I appreciate the suggestion, but have searched high and low (OK, mostly high) for said plaque.

No luck.

I can't recall ANY hotspot (except for the safe) for which I didn't/don't have the right inventory item.

Clearly I haven't yet SEEN the plaque. :-{

mmmm, cleaning rag + industry? Do not remember seeing a plaque at Vivetech, guess have to go back and look or maybe downtown? Didn't see a plaque at the 'allotment' either......side question = is an 'allotment' in Sweden a garden? or a vacation property? or what?

I suppose that you ARE in the "East DOCKS" !! eek wink
P.S.
In England an allotment is a little patch of ground usually fairly near to one's house ... but not a garden ... usually for growing vegetables and the like (for eating). laugh
I assume the same for Sweden ???

Yes, the docks are more appropriate and the allotment will be a garden.

Oups, sometime in french, we may use the word "jardin" (garden)as for flowers or a space for vegetables.

Sorry for the incorrect information.

Chief.
