Have you looked at the mirror (close-up view)?

Emily, When I look at the broken mirror, Ren's remarks are "this red thing looks like blood" or "broken mirror". If I try to use the evdcoll on it, she says "these 2 things won't work together". Please.

This one is a really finicky hotspot. Just keep trying your vial on blood spots until you get one that works! (If I recall correctly, it's a shard just slightly to the left of center.)

Use something in your inventory. I was kind of surprised by this because it's an action most adventure games don't let you take.

I found a map for the catacombs but I have no idea where they are

Did anyone actually find a way to use that map of the catacombs?

I am at the fence of the power plant, tried to use the wire cutters on the chain but it didn't work. How can I go inside? Didn't find anything else to cut here...

TLC, Go back across the wood plank and go down the stairs at the foreground of the screen.

Jenny100, I wanted to see if not taking-picking it up and then go to the catacomb will get Ren to go down there. Haven't had a chance to check that yet.

Springchicken, Have you remove the clone-monster out of the way already? If so - the wire cutters don't work on that chain. What does a tough, gun-toting PI do to take care of things in her way?

Jenny: I did not use the map at all, but I didn't realize there was a command for getting a close-up view of documents (middle mouse button or, I think, the M button - it's stated in the manual that I never noticed until after I played the game!) What happens if you do the close-up view? Is it useful then? (Not that the catacombs were that difficult to get through...)

MaG, I tried that, and yes you can get into the catacombs without the map.

Emily, I did read the manual about the middle button and saw the maps- documents on close up. But yuck - they are so indistinct to recognize. I tried screen captures too. Thanks for the info about the map.

I didn't do it to the lab reports because it was mentioned on the game - wait maybe the oil has importance bec. I was wondering how they knew about the plant. I can check that. Be back.

I used it on the catacombs and the ventilation ducts but very indistinct for me or my eyes are too old.
