how much is 1/2 cup of potatoe chips and 1 1/2 cup of potatoe chip. i cannot find it on line.

According to this here, : 1 ounce of chips or pretzels - is two handfuls
1/2 cup of potato chips, crackers or popcorn - is one man's handful
1/3 cup of potato chips, crackers or popcorn - is one woman's handful

So a 1/2 cup is one mans handful and 1 1/2 cups would be 3 mens handfuls.

I just crunch them up in a plastic bag and pour into a measuring cup. Most of the time, the chips are just a topping, so a little more or less won't hurt. Sounds yummy.

I just crush a bunch of them inside the potato chip bag and toss them on top approximately 1/2 inch thick - I don't measure them at all. But if you did measure, just do like Sorta Blonde does.
