Is there some kind of program that will alert you to up-coming events that you entered,sort of like a calendar or something that you can set up to send you an email reminder for an event that takes place twice a year or what ever the situation requires.I would want something simple and not elaborate like Microsoft office or a program like that.

I use the Calendar app in my Windows 10 - I also used it in Windows 8.1. I set my event as a single event or one that happens monthly or yearly or whatever. Then I set the time I want to be reminded of the event. It's saved my bacon a couple of times when I forgot an appointment!

I have also used Google calendar - it works much the same way and is very good. It's available as an app or as a program for your computer. I can't post a link because it won't let me get it without it being my own personal Google calendar! Just do a search for Google calendar.

I have an email account at Outlook.com that started out as a Hotmail account, and it has a calendar function that can send email reminders.

I have Microsoft calendar loaded on my Surface Pro and I have notifications turned on ..but I do not get notifications?? Also can't figure out how to import all the info to the google calendar ?? Any ideas.
