May I join in?
Am currently knocking around in Spire. I may or may not have finished Haven - got a great ride back to the station, and then came here.
I have got the little ship to fly and I can now see another conductor panel but can't get to it. Have fiddled and poked about but no luck.
A large stuck gear is down below, and a viewer that looks like a spiderweb, but that seems to be it.
I seem to have exhausted all my options. I will wait here till someone comes across, and then we can compare notes

Flotsam - you have to unstuck the large gear below - to do so, you just have to knock down a little green stone. It's on the wheel (right side of it).

Thanks Jenny, I thought I was doing something wrong about not getting the subtitles to show up. I sure wish the had a english subtitle, my hearing isn't to good. Thanks

Is Atrus' bedroom the one with the fireplace puzzle or do I have to keep looking? I've only found that bedroom and Yeesha's.

Oh, and has anyone been able to get through the back door of Yeesha's homework room (the one with the fireflies in a container)?

Well yes, jayne, you'll be able to go through the back door, but not untill you'll visit one of the ages.
Atrus bedroom is not that room with fireplace. Only hint I can give you is that keep looking in Yeesha's bedroom for some secret.

Thanks, Marty. I think I know where to look in her bedroom. It has to do with moving things in/out a bit, I think.

Also, thanks about the back door. I've spent lots of time looking for a lever of some sort.

I got the power running. I couldn't play much yesturday- babysitting our 1 year old grandaughter. Anyway,I was aimlessly pressing those buttons until I figured out the logic (DUH) behind them. What a satisfying feeling when you finally figure it out! Then I had that big surprise which I hope was supposed to happen. And now I can't find yeesha.....

This is interesting! If any of you kept your Nancy Drew magnifying glass from one of those games, it makes the book puzzle in Yeesha's bedroom a snap!!!!

How do you get the books to recite back to you? Thx

Am in the room with the fireflies trying to set the thing on the left side of the room. Apparently there is a proper sequence to push the keys here? Gather the crystals in Atrus' office have something to do with this? Don't understand the pattern here though. Hope somebody can give me some clear ideas here. Many thx

I finally made it to the swimming pier from Yeesha's bedroom. Have gone up and down the ladder several times and walked around the pier. I see no sign of Atrus' bedroom. What the heck am I doing wrong?

PS Please don't tell me I have to win the rolly-ball puzzle to get into his bedroom!

Jayne you have to get the power back and contact Atrus in order to continue game

You have to rearrange power from fisrt and belive second last column into to equal columns in the middle.

GeeGee, that thing in the room with the fireflies doesn't have anything to do with the crystals, it turns the power on. You need to get rows 3 and 4 so that they have white dots with a blue one on top of the rows. It takes some fiddling around.

Note: top row of keys controls which row you are moving dots from, bottom row, which row you are moving the dots to.

Have you opened the roof of the workroom? Have you taken a picture of the crystals? Once you get the power on, go to the machine in Atrus's workroom that blew up and use the crystals to get it going again...

GeeGee, in the room with the picture of Atrus and Catherine with their sons over the fireplace, did you go inside the fireplace and pick up the medallion that Yeesha dropped? Once you have that, watch for it to light up and you'll get little vignettes from their lives. I think that also "reads" the books...

I cannot find Atrus Bedroom. I have done all of the puzzles including the one in the bedroom with the books and went to the water area where the easel is....where do I find Atrus Bedroom? been everywhere, also read diary...did fireplace puzzle also.......any left?

Can you go to Serenia, msblue? If yes, then try to go back from Serenia to Tomahna and you'll see eveything for yourself.

Msblue-- We are at the same place. I've got the power on, set the antenna, did the crystals and talked to Atrus, did the fireplace puzzle and saw the linking books, did the puzzle in Yeesha's room and went to the pier with the easel, etc., etc. And I cannot find Atrus' bedroom either! Are we missing something at the pier? The only thing I can't do is get all those darn balls to fall in the holes.

Any help finding Atrus' bedroom would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, actually on the pier you should find a linking book, but if it's not where, when I quess you have to travel a bit to Spire and Haven and go back to pier ater that.

Hi Marty. Thanks. Did not find a linking book on the pier. Will look again. You mean Atrus' bedroom is reached through a linking book?

How come he said to read in his journals about Spire and Haven in his bedroom then? I thought I should do that before going to Spire/Haven.

How do I get to Serina? Jayne what balls are you talking about? Nor have I been to Spire or Haven.......have no Idea how to get to any of those places........gads I must be dense.......

I am at the spire, prison world...I looked around for sometime now, use the elevator if want to call it that, I think there is three levels in this world..I found a flotting object, and two
roll up controls with a lidder button, and got all the little lights on,(this one had 4 lights on, and the flotter moved, more and the other roll up controls has 7 lights on, and next the other book like circut that opens up like a book, the top 4 buttons are lite, the 7 other buttons are lite, now what?

Do I have to lite the other side of this book-light control with a lot of non-lite lights? if so where is it..I don't see anything else, but that spider chair, and doesn't look like has any power, tried to move the buton slide, but doesn't move..Took pictures of the documents I found, and found one about the spider chair, but don't know what I am looking at...Hope anyone understand this cause I don't..

Msblue--I don't know how to get to Serina either. I assume it's via the linking book on the pier that Marty mentioned. I couldn't find the book. If you solved the fireplace puzzle you should have gone down and found the linking books to Spire and Haven. I haven't been there yet either because I've spent all day looking for Atrus' bedroom.

The balls are in that game that rocks back and forth in Ysheera's bedroom. If I don't find the linking book to Serina or Atrus' bedroom when I go back to the game, I will link to Spire or Haven and proceed on.

GeeGee- Do you have power? If so the red light should blink when in chair and somtimes redundancy is necessary.... As for the roof make sure you look carefully at any and all levers...
Meanwhile, I have done the crystal bit and the fireplace bit. I also thought the fireplace room was atrus's so now i'll go search some more

Well I just got the game 20 minutes ago and loaded it in and if I can ever figure out how to open the d*** door to follow the little girl in maybe, just maybe I'll be able to play - I know I'm supposed to do something with that blinky thing on the post but what - who knows, right now I'd give my eye teeth for a grenade launcher
