Hi Guys,

I have downloaded this game from Steam, but when I run it I have no sound, anyone else experienced this problem.

I had the same problem with The Charnel House Trilogy, this occurred after a windows 10 update.

Any advise gratefully accepted

Did you try the previously suggested fixes when you were having sound problems before - running the game as the administrator and/or playing in compatibility mode?

I have tried running as Administrator but the set up is different from my other game, I have selected run as Administrator but it didnt work, I have also tried the compatibility mode and the game is not listed in the apps.

I have emailed Clifftop Games, they replied asking where I ordered the game from and for what system, I have sent a reply and now I am waiting for their response

The game doesn't have to be "listed in the apps" to change compatibility.
Right-click the game shortcut (or browse to the game folder and right-click the game exe)
Select Properties from the context menu
Choose the Compatibility tab
Make changes and Save

Hi Guys

I have now resolved my sound issues, I tried running it as administrator without changing the compatibility and it runs fine.

Just in case anyone else has the same issues, you need to go through Steam, right click on the game name in the library and then select properties, local files, there you will find the compatibility and run as administrator options.

I missed a step, from the Local Files tab select Browse files, then right click on the exe icon then select run as administrator, sorry for the slip up
