Been thinking about your wish to find more humorous games. One that I played years ago was Vampireville. The game is about 6 years old now, though, and although I don't recall many specifics, it probably has quite a few variations on hidden object scenes and therefore tolerance would be required for what might seem like outdated play mechanics. I do recall being amused by it, though.

Thanks for the suggestions, Jenny. I did find The Treasures of Mystery Island here at Big Fish.

I did find The Treasures of Mystery Island here at Big Fish. Interesting. It didn't come up when I did a search at Big Fish, and it wasn't early in the Google search either. I had to use Google to go to the comments forum for the game, and click "Try this Game" to find a link for the purchase page for the game. Either it's not "really" available or something is wrong with Big Fish's search that excludes it.

One that I found on the humorous side even though some reviewers on BF stated that there was a lot of blood scenes but I played the game and it wasn't so bad compared to others which were much more violent, the game in mind is : Dracula - Love Kills, I had a blast with the interactions between the characters and had a few giggles here and there listening to their banters during the game.
If you haven't played this game, give the demo a try.

I haven't played Treasures of Mystery Island or even heard of it, so I'll check my BFG purchase history then look up that one. Both Vampireville and Dracula Love Kills are in my digital cupboard from five or six years ago. Tried both. Again. In Vampireville, the tail-coated butler with the sad eyes of a St Bernard and lines like "We haven't turned on the heat in 300 years, sir." and the other characters, like the sprightly St Bernard ghost who isn't sad at all, are as delightful as I now recall. It is entirely possible I never finished Dracula Love Kills the first time because I didn't like the option of killing various NPCs or the icon for drinking blood or the use of HO screens as pay-off. This time I may finish Dracula Love Kills on the basis of its strengths. As Starcom points out, the dialog and attention to in depth characterization are stand-outs in the world of casual gaming. Nevertheless, Dracula Love Love Kills is not a game I recommend for anyone squeamish about shooting a crucifix off the wall. The graphics still look good. A collaboration between the writing and character development skills in Dracula Love Kills and in Vampireville with the plotting, puzzle design, and sense of generational family saga evident in Grim Tales:The Legacy would produce for me the perfect casual. In short, both Dracula Love Kills and Vampireville remind me that a deft hand with the art of fiction is what immersion is all about.
Just noticed that the pompous Harker (oops, think I meant Van Helsing) in Dracula Love Kills is wrong about the Bridge of Sighs symbolizing love and hope, so satisfying.
