Know the true value of time; snatch, seize, and enjoy every moment of it. No idleness, no laziness, no procrastination: never put off till to-morrow what you can do to-day.

Yeah......Carpe Diem y'all cool

These funny bloopers are actual mistakes by students I have tutored in Conversational English. Subject religion.

Do you believe in Cod?

Christians believe if they do not sin they will have salivation.

We must try to control our animal orgies.

What means “you should never stone the first cast”?

Which religion do you use?

Our church has smaller members every week.

I Know that if I pray hard,
God will forgive me for my shins.

I think maybe our house is haunted with dead goats.

People don’t think for themselves. Most people have the same religion their parrots had.

If you don’t believe in God your spit can go to hell.

The thirty largest religious leaders met to
talk about world hunger.

Jesus lived during the Roman Catholic Empire.

I think Moses was that guy that climbed into a mountain. then he read God’s Ten Big Rules from the top.

Do you believe some part of you
still lives after you are dead?
You mean organ donation?

I don’t agree with some of the conceptions
in that church.

We believe the spit of our ancestors stays with us
and helps our food to grow.

At that time, the romanians had stronger arms so they controled the Judists.

When the bad army tried to follow them in the land of milky honey land, probably they couldn’t walk on water so they sank.

Subject politics and government

China is slowly becoming a flea market economy.

The second Word War had much propaganda

I am so tired of police violins!

At that time, one of the most important weapons was the rocket lawn chair.

The Clinton menstruation was a difficult period in American politics.

The President got off the plane and gave a big kiss to the first ladder.

The police were attacked by a large group of angry mops.

In my opinion, police officers and their weapons should always be fully loaded and ready for action.

The American President is very powerful. For one thing, he chooses the supreme coat judges.

It is a very exciting erection! But I think Al Gore will lose it soon.

There are still plenty of fossil fools.

The article said there are only maybe five thousand beers left in B.C. This is a very serious problem… I think maybe we should only let very small people go beer hunting every year.

Our society is mostly based on Confusionism.

We are having mid 80s to low 90s with high rain chances, and the humidity is a killer. shocked

Why is it that I cannot drink enough water on high humidity days?

There's more moisture in the air, but I need to drink more water? duh

If you know why this is, don't tell me. I like walking around looking dazed and perplexed. headscratch

lol Hope work flies by for you, Joe.

Have a happy day, too, Ana.

Have a great Monday also, Space Quest.

It's Sunday night here, and it's back to work for me again on Monday. I only work three days next week, but that doesn't mean I will be any less stressed if I haven't been scheduled enough hours to complete all my work. rolleyes Oh, well, I suppose I could use a mini vacation anyway, and I have a second weekend starting Wednesday. lol

As for now, I'm off to sleep. Have a great Monday, everyone. summer

Magnificent Monday ya'll puppy

I've been awake since 3:30 since a hot flash woke me, and I just couldn't fall back asleep. I heard the weatherman say "heat index of 105" just a few minutes ago. That's insane!

Joe, I would think being treated like a lost puppy would be great. Women generally like to cuddle puppies. wink

Ana, happy day to you.

Space, hope your Monday is wonderful.

A mini-vacation is always fun, Venus. Good way to look at it.

Gerry, thanks for always keeping our coffee/tea cups full.

Gail, when do the girls finish school. This month, yes?

Connie, heading to the corner. Thanks

wavegirl

Happy day to everyone, everywhere. wave

What a great day for Lazarus! Last night, he came up onto the feeding table with his mom, Mini-Me again. She ate canned food, but he gulped down tons of dry food. My friend predicted that little Lazarus was going to upchuck later. Don't know if he did but he sure was eating and eating.

This morning, I did my normal routine, put the grapes and sunflower seeds on the plate for Penelope the Peacock (haven't seen her yet today), then put the canned food on the 2 plates on the feeding table for the kitties (4 adults) who come every morning. Then I saw Mini-Me sharking around the table (she only gets up there when I leave the area) and then she got down, called for Lazarus, and there he was, right on the deck. Too many adults up on the table, but I put a plate down for him and his little nose started sniffing until he finally located the plate. He's too inexperienced to know that a WHITE plate means food. So he gobbled down at least a 1/4 can of Friskies and is now happily chasing a plastic ball with a bell inside. I thought I heard it last night and it seems that he is the one who is distributing all 4 of them around the deck and yard. How fun.

He's now at the training stage. Last night it was 1) chase leaves, 2)think about climbing a tree, 3) jump up and down from a concrete block, and 4) play 'jungle kitty' which involves stalking his mother from 6 feet away and then pouncing on her. He did pretty good, except for the pounce. He's so small he flopped over on the landing and mom seemed disinterested in the jungle kitty scenario.

Going to be fun today to see if Lazarus stays 'out' instead of hiding under bushes and on the other side of the fence in the neighbor's yard. I'm hoping to partially 'train' him enough to pet so I can take him for neutering as soon as he's old enough.

Hopefully, Penelope won't chase Lazarus. He's too young to know how to fight yet. I'll be on guard all day.

Hooray L4L! Always love good news. Hope you ALL feel relieved now.

As for little Lazarus, he has taken to camping out in the 'holes' in my stacked concrete blocks (the big ones) that line the fence bottom. He has found he fits nicely and can actually curl up in there. Most of the time, he falls asleep and his head starts falling out until the entire body is almost on the ground. Funny. I found him this afternoon and when I got close, I realized his eyes were glued shut AGAIN. It's the only time I can actually grab him, so I leather gloved up and pried his eyes open again. He wasn't happy, but now he can see again and is running and playing all over the yard while Mini-Me the mom, watches. I haven't had a kitten for about 20 years so it's fun to see Lazarus doing all the kitten things.
