If you enjoy older games, have a bunch of old D&D style CD's around that you just don't want to mess with in order to play again or haven't delved into the world of classic RPG's you need to check out the finale of GOG's Summer Sale

They've got everything from Planescape: Torment to the first Witcher Enhanced Edition for just a few bucks each. I have to admit, I've increased my GOG cloud holdings by a fairly substantial amount due to this darn sale lol

Yes. I've been watching the sale, Trail_Mystic, but already have have most of the oldies I would like.
However, I am going to plump for Divinity Original Sin. [Enhamced edition].

That will complete the games I want in my Divinity set laugh

I love picking up the old classics for a song, especially when they're quick downloads and require no patching. Dead easy.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Yeah, I've been in retro mode for a couple weeks now. Been playing Neverwinter Nights 1 and just downloaded Icewind Dale: Enhanced, which I'll be starting this afternoon. Ah, the memories. grin They really support the habit over at GOG, I picked up all the old Forgotten Realms games for next to nothing, but that added up to a free game bonus, which I didn't expect. I'm going to be hip deep in D&D games for months. thumbsup

Waiting for this sale to grab my copy of Vampire Bloodlines! Woot!

I remember reading one blog somewhere about getting OVER the fact that Windows 10 isn't supporting some older games any more because of the DRM. "How many times do you have to replay old games! Move on!"

HAH! Simple mind that has no idea how much we love some of our older games and how we never tire of them! Bless GOG!

Agreed. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of the newer games, but many are missing that story-telling/Dungeon Master aspect that many of the older ones did so well. As soon as I started Icewind Dale this afternoon and that familiar voice began to narrate the awesome intro story, I got a huge smile across my face. grin

Oh, I'm loving the new games too - SOMA is just spectacular. But getting back into Bloodlines just feels good...

Picked up the first Darksiders game on sale and started it this afternoon; crazy hack 'n slash fun with an interesting plot. Still getting used to the game mechanics though, fingers aren't as fast as they used to be. lol

Edit: Cool, just did a little research on some of the voice talent and it turns out that one of the main characters is voiced by Mark Hamill thumbsup
