Hi, i have win 8.1 and want to install save games from MaG.Can someone refresh my memory on how to do this.The game is from GOG.They are zipped in my emails.How do i get them from there to the GOG game file?

Download the zip file try to put it into a new folder by itself. It will be easier to locate the unzipped files if there is nothing else in that folder. Right click on the zip file and select extract here. That will give you a selection of save files. The trick is you have to find where the game places the saves. There is no "usual" place. Generally they are buried somewhere under documents in a folder bearing the game's name or the developer or the publisher. That too varies. Once you locate where the game placed them you simply copy the new save and paste it in the game's save folder.

Generally for most games for a save to work it has to be in sequential order. For instance if the name of your last save in the game folder is 100.sav the one you add needs to be renamed to 101.sav Naming varies from game to game you must follow whatever format the game used. The ones Mag sent you will be in the proper nomenclature but most likely not be next in order regarding your list of saves.
