You may have a couple of the dolls in the wrong spot (some are very similar). Did you try matching them by the picture in MaG's walkthrough?

Also, if you would prefer a save, I do have one. Also, you may need to talk to everyone (especially Bess & George)

i thought the dolls had to be arranged to spell out the french name by using their first initial?? i can't find one more gem, or no more tokens.

That is correct about the dolls. The other thing about the dolls is that I don't think the game will recognize that it is correct unless you have seen all the clues.

I will bet you are missing the gem that I couldn't find on my last playthrough. My missing gem turned out to be in the dining room, where Frank and Joe always are until you get off the train. It's easy to miss. sherlock

i got the gem under the light in the dining room. i haven't got the purple one, but i know where it is. i can't get toni or john in camille's room to leave. i went over the places i saw the clues & i think i did it all. i'll check again.i just checked them all & i saw all the clues.

It does sound like you need to solve the doll puzzle. As Jen said, check MaG's walkthrough - that should help you get them into the correct order.

hi, i'm having a problem with the piano.i can't see anything i should have done before this. the one thing i saw was to do the piano first before getting the jem from jakes office. i did it the other way around. would that make a difference?

I shouldn't think that would make a difference. The ND games generally let players do the same things in a different order, with no harm done.

When you say you are having a problem with the piano, what exactly is happening?

Dusty, with the piano, Nancy does have the sheet music paper from the drawer in the corner? Its been over a year since I've played this game, but I THINK you have to play the camptown races game first too

In terms of overall design and pacing, I think this is one of the best ND games ever. wave
