Best Freeware Game and
Best Demo, I did the SFX for
A Landlord's Dream which is up for
Best Music & Sound (though my contribution to the sound was very minor in reality - Chris's awesome Bladerunner-esque music is what's got it nominated), and I voiced 3 characters in Baron's hilarious
Blue Lobe Inc., which is up for
Best Voicework. Technically I did voice a character in
Technobabylon, but you will probably never hear it
(one of the random phone calls you can make in the game - if you ever get the chance to call "Philippe" you can hear my attempt at a French accent - or you can actually dial 414-7854-5084 in the game. Awesome feature by James there!).
Would be weird if Troll Song wins Best Demo - partly because it would be the third time I've won that award (I haven't directly won any other), and also because Troll Song has actually won Best Demo before! (But it was a very early demo version of Verse One.) I wasn't expecting a nom for Demo to be perfectly honest but, although it is a short freeware game in its own right, it is also effectively a demo of the eventual commercial full game release.
