Hello everybody...I need some help. I ran across this article yesterday and found the little frog fairly quickly but have yet to find the lizard...
headscratch

The article even includes written locations for both critters but for the life of me I still can't find the lizard rotfl

Can you find the lizard and describe it's location?

The Frog and the Lizard

I see the lizard. Found it without the hint, but since I'm color-blind, I look for 'patterns' rather than color. He's got some diamond shaped darker markings on his back. Just to left of center, vertically positioned.

Good question. Hummmmm. He matches the bark exactly. I'm only seeing gray and black with my vision. But I'm assuming he changes color to match whatever he's on. The only tip offs are the pointy shape of his head and those black, diamond shapes going up his body. Three of them in line vertically. He's just to the left of a dark groove in the bark. He's pretty big, about 1/4 the height of the picture. Look at the white splotches in the upper right corner, then look to the left of the one nearest center, then down half-way. He's perfectly 'in the groove'. Ha. Clever little guy.

Just looked again, there are only TWO dark sort of diamond shaped mid body. If it helps, he's head UP and if you find the usual lizard shaped head, look right and left and you can see his front legs and toes gripping the tree.

Thanks, Sorta

Thanks, Ana...Soot out running Saturday errands but we were hoping someone would circle it for us hamster

Edit: Too funny...I just realized that Soot and I were looking at the wrong picture. We found the guy on the bark in the bottom picture, but from reading the article also thought there was one on the top picture where the frog is. We both found the frog, but have been going nuts trying to find the lizard in the top picture with the frog. rotfl

The frog was much easier to find than the lizard for me.

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Ha. I guess it helps to be color-blind sometimes. I barely deal in colors unless it's vital. I just look at shapes and that lizard sure was a shape that my eyes could see. Reminds me of the 'Coast Watchers' in the war. They used color-blind guys to spot hidden ships that were painted to blend in with the skyline or treeline. Those I could spot immediately. Happy little lizard is gonna be safe on his tree bark. I'm assuming the bark is brown or gray?

Brown, gray, tan, orange, beige and everything else in between! The lizard was easy to find for me because the markings on his back were too "regular." They were not random like the rest of the trunk. So, guess I was looking at patterns too!

Once again, weeds are my life!

I can see the ***lizard*** by the pattern on its back.

I think the ***frog*** is a lot harder. What I at first thought was the frog was what looked like it might be an eye -- a black spot on a leaf near the left side of the picture. I couldn't see the real frog at all until I got the zoomed in picture. Now I can see

the eye, though I'm not sure of the rest of him. If what I think is the frog is really him, he's sitting on a leaf, is almost vertical, and is either partially covered up by the leaf or has flattened himself against it.

Yea, Jenny100, you really only see the eye and then you can see his body and toes very slightly once you know where they must be!

It's not really the lizard, and the frog I'm worried about not seeing, if I'm walking through the jungle or rain forest. lol

You never know. Since I'm retired now........ snicker
