Those of you who follow me on FaceBook and Twitter already know I am an amateur photographer and especially love taking sunset photos.

I entered a local photography contest for an area I take 90% of my photos. If you want to check them out and maybe vote for one of mine if you think they are better than others, I would be most thankful!

You can view them at the forest preserve website here. To access scroll down a bit until you see a search feature and enter "anasprague" without the quotes and then select the magnifying glass to the right. That will bring up my ten entries.

You can vote once a day for the next 35 days. They need your email address only for confirmation you do not need to subscribe to anything. It's just our local forest preserve and not a spam website. FYI, voting for the same photo increases the chances of it winning. There are many there with significant votes already.

SpaceQ, yes, in truth, the only chance I really have to win is if everyone votes for the same one. There is one person that entered this morning and had 174 votes instantly! yesterday the most anyone had was 44. I maybe should have gained the confidence to enter when I first heard of it.

I agree with Drac, they are awesome! I voted for the one with the most votes figuring it would tip the odds in your favor. Hope you don't mind, but I copied the one with the Coyote for my desktop. That's my Spirit Guide and I love the look it has, so serene.

I was thinking what pic to choose and then I saw "it". So wonderful, just my taste. Maybe not the best tactic move to go for a pic with only one vote, but I liked it too much not to. Great!

I just checked and Ana is in 14th place. Ana is here everyday working on this site for all of our enjoyment and I am loving finally having a chance to do something to help her.

Your pictures are awesome Ana. I don't know what is up with the photo that is leading but it makes me think we might need some voting monitors.
