Does Win-10 still have control-alt-delete to get out of jams?
If not is there another way provided?

Yes, I think-takes you to the usual menu of Task Manager, sign out, change password, shut down etc.,

Task Manager is still there - it also has added features such as Startup where you can control your Startup items. Remember when you had to do a msconfig to get to your Startup? No longer - it's a tab in Task Manager.

This probably has way too much information, but scroll down to see what all is available in Task Manager in Windows 10.

That's good because I heard Bill Gates wanted to eliminate it.

Bill Gates? Can't say I've read this in any of my tech blogs.

The Startup section of the TaskManager was in Windows 8.1 (and probably 8) as well.

If you're talking about this
http://www.theverge.com/2013/9/26/4772680/bill-gates-admits-ctrl-alt-del-was-a-mistake

It has nothing to do with using Control-Alt-Delete to get to Task Manager. It's about using Control-Alt-Delete to log into a computer -- after Control-Alt-Delete had already been used to reboot a computer or open Task Manager.

Aha I see I didn't hear it quite right. So just sort of ignore this whole post.
