Hiding Under a Rock
I have been using the free version. usually when I update the file is downloaded and I choose 'run' and then then a small window opens with the picture and asks what language(I think) and then you select other things and it just installs.
This time there is no run option after you download the file..only Open or Save options and if you go ahead and click on the file after downloaded it then goes to a window that asks what you want to open it with and shows options.
This is NOT HOW IT IS USUALLY DONE.
Has anyone else run into this problem updating the free version? and if so what did you do?

If the file has been downloaded, just go to your downloads folder, find the download and double click it to install. I never use the Run option - I always download and manually install.

Once again, weeds are my life!

I would guess the word "Open" replaces the word "Run."
IE probably updated itself and changed its terminology.

IE often strips off the .exe part of .exe files, so Windows doesn't know how you want to open it. Try renaming the file by adding .exe on the end before running it.
