Codex Silenda: The Book of Puzzles

All made out of wood, where each page is an elaborate puzzle
with laser-cut pieces:

Page One - Mechanical Iris
Page Two - Rotating Maze
Page Three - Geneva Gears
Page Four - Paradox Sliders
Page Five - Cryptex Lock

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2119414279/codex-silenda-the-book-of-puzzles

The Kickstarter completely sold out, so you can't donate,
but it's interesting to see the pictures of the prototype book.

What an awesome puzzle thingy! Funding way exceeds the start up amount. Geeee. I'd buy one when they are finally released to the public, provided it's not way too expensive. Thanks for sharing.

WARNING! This person is extremely blonde...please type SLOWLY.

Thanks.

No I didn't donate.
I didn't hear about it until yesterday.

It looks like once they finish making the books for the Kickstarter donors, they will start taking orders from people who were too late for the Kickstarter. They say...
Quote:
Can I still buy a Codex after the Campaign is over?

Yes but only after we have successfully delivered all of our rewards to our backers first. Once that is all settled, we will begin again taking more orders laugh

The description of the designer is
Quote:
Brady Whitney is the designer of the operation, the mastermind of the Codex. He originally came up with the idea for his senior thesis research project during his final semester at Iowa State University. Having grown up with a childhood filled with imagination, his passion for design has always been focused on the realm of Toys & Games, creating the products and ideas he always wished he had as a kid.

I'd be interested to see his other designs for "Toys & Games."
