This is an old game, so I realize that it might be difficult to get help; but I'm at the end of my rope. No help on BFG game forum and walkthroughs are practically non-existent. YouTube walkthroughs aren't helpful because they move too fast.

I need just one more "mysterious plant" to combine with crystals in the scene with giant mushroom and Venus fly traps. Just wondering if anyone else found it difficult or impossible to complete this task. Should I just keep clicking around until I find it? Any feedback is appreciated.

I looked and saw only the video walkthrough.
Try clicking the on/off arrow at bottom left when watching the video walkthrough. That might help.

I found this thread on Big Fish. Maybe the third post will help?

It sounds like you aren't the only one to have been aggravated by this.

Thanks, Marian. I checked there. This particular tip didn't help. I'd already found that one.

AT LAST! Hadn't thought to check the Tech Issues thread in the BFG game forum. The answer was there and I'm able to continue the game.
Thanks again to MaG and Marian for your feedback.

Now that I've gotten past that bump in the road, I have to say I'm liking this game despite it being somewhat old school. Other than the HOS, it plays a bit like an adventure game. You have to keep a sharp eye and be patient enough to look around for inventory items. I have to admit that I probably wouldn't get far without the Hint feature. rolleyes The gameplay is fairly linear, so the little bit of trekking back and forth isn't very troublesome. I recommend it, in particular to anyone who may want to use a coupon code. But be sure to play a few minutes of the demo just to make sure it's your cup of tea. Not anything to compare to the most current IHOGS/HOPAS, but worth the time IMO.
