I hope someone remembers thuis old game. I have just begun & I am in the cave & going up stairs. WT says to go up 1st flight turn R, go down next set of stairs to a rusty valve. It's the valve I can't find. I do see a metal tank like thing attached to a red wheel & I am guessing that is where I am suppossed to be & to open the valve. My sursor does not indicate any thing to do so I am lost I guess. UI have been up the stairs all the way but this is the only place where there might be something like this.

Thanks

Mome

Mome,

Face the stairs like you first came to this room.
You will see stairs in front of you. See the first set of stairs.
Climb that one flight. You should pan right because it is not obvious that you came up one flight. I think it is just one click up the stairs - maybe wrong here.
You will see the other stairs and the valve will be obvious in the end.

Help help again. I am trying to put the fuel cell aggregate on the sealing valve in the temple. I went back to Achives (which I love) & saw that someone else was having this same problem. the thread said to make sure that the place you were trying to put something had the label showing. That indicates that whats going on is right. I have the fuel cell ok & the sealing valve (in a sink thing) & everything says the right thing but the fuel cell still will not go on it!!

Thanks
Mome

Mome,

Before I do some aerobic exercise of the brain cells - you do know that there's a walkthrough in that game. I'm not sure but it might be on the CD or in the program file. It is in Adobe pdf form.

Now fuel cell aggregate - are you placing it on the fountain like-sink like thing on the left side of the area. That is if you are facing the gate to go outside.

Thanks MaG. Yes I went to the Chemicus WT on the Acrobat Adobe WT & even enlarged the shot of the place where this thing goes, however, it didn't help me figure out where to put it. The fuel cell thing is a sort of square rectangular box thing & just doesn't seem to fit onto the place where it should go (at least the photo didn't show anything that looked like that) Can it be possible that I picked up the wrong thing? I went back to the control room & looked around again but there's nothing there. I am at a sink like thing (temple) & the place to put it says the right thing & my inventory object says the right thing.

I think you picked up the correct one.
In the back of my mind - I think that with your back to the stairs and facing the gate, the sink is the one on the left and the fuel cell is placed somewhere to the bottom of it. It's been a while that I've played this game.

Hope a fresher mind can help us here.

MaG thanks for trying to help. I am at the sink but still can't get that stupid thing to go on. Will keep trying. Hopefully, someone who had the same problem will remember what they finally had to do!!!

Okay Mome, I just finished this part of the game. Above the oval shaped thing is where the fuel cell goes. Not on the faucet.
It will connect with the pipes that are marked red and blue.
Good luck

It's an odd game Mome. I remember playing it and searching for hot spots and getting turned around. Let me know how you do. I didn't uninstall it this time so maybe I'll be able to help you.

Okay Mome, I had to replay this part of the game. When you flipped the lever green lights and one red one appeared on your console. Back up one step from the console and face left. There is a board[reminds me of a chalkboard]and it should be lit now. Go to it and click on the blue triangle. Now you should be able to go downstairs and get into the transporter with the module you picked up.
Good luck

Sue

Thank you Sue I am now in the photo lab & areas of the WT in the Ni area. I am supposed to move the outside dial to Ni Ni. But it is already on Ni so I assumed I just clicked it twice??? & went back in room & put acid, copper, nail, wire in flask & am supposed to turn on battery which seems to be dead!! I guess the problem must be in the outside dial area???

Thanks

Sylvia

Hi Mome. There is a dial on the left side of the door of the room that you are in. That is the dial that you are to turn to Ni Ni. Also there is a switch on the box above the beaker that you put the nail and copper wire into. You have to toggle the switch.
Good luck

Sue

There are times when you will use both dials Mome. Placing the nail where it is supposed to be can be tricky Mome. It took me a couple of attempts to seat it properly.

Hi Sue, I am in the observatory, 2nd time, trying to make beads. well, guess what I don't have red beads I have turquoise beads (I really like them better, can I keep them??? Also, for some reason the cursor won't go down to let me pick up some snow. I know it is supposed to because I have gone back several times to saved games trying to get red beads & had a piece of snow. Maybe it all melted!!!

Thanks

Mome

You have no choice but to keep them Mome. You can't get rid of them until the end of the game. Go back, put the copper oxide 2 in the left cup, make sure that you only put a bead on the outer rim and spin the thing around. There is a seemingly endless supply of the copper to work with. You wouldn't believe how many bad batches I made. You need to end up with what looked like red granules to me.
Once you get them and make the red beads, you will be able to get the snow........but not before for some reason. The game gets really linear as it progresses.

I can't believe the trouble I am having with this game. I went back put copper2oxide (I think) in L cup, put black bead on outer rim, pushed button & then got a copper blob in R side. Then I went back observatory & worked on the buckets again but the copper blob won't go into bucket so obviously this is not the correct thing to put in there because I got the turquoise beads again.

I just can't figure out what I am doing wrong!!!
I have gone back to beginning a jiooion times. I hate to give in but maybe I need a saved game for this spot??

Mome, I got the same stuff two times too. If you get anything that doesn't look like red dust, just stand there and make another batch. Apparently you have an unending supply of chemicals. See what happens if you click a bead to the left of the big red button.....maybe half of an inch left of itand be sure you are on the outer ring.. That's where I finally got the red stuff.

Mome, I double checked what I told you, when you place the black bead on the outer ring, do it slightly left of the central red button. Honest, you can do it. I made more than one batch of lumps of copper.
