Please help me something went wrong, I got the little boy out of the room to go play a prank. I got the hidden note under the chair. I figured out what it said and went and found the letters and when I came back I played the notes and nothing happened. The little boy is back now and I can't get rid of him again so I can try it again. I don't know how I'm going to get into the security office now. Do I have to start over again? If I do I'm going to cry wink your help will be much appreciated. Thanks

If you decoded the note correctly, go to each of the locations stated by the note - in order - and click on those letters. Be sure of the order and that Nancy verifies that you did it correctly. luck

I have the notes as GDBGA I know that's the correct code. I played them and nothing happened. I know where the notes are on the instrument are and it didn't trigger the clock to move or show me the way to get into the security office. I looked over in the corner and the little boy was back playing with his game. Is there a way to get rid of him again or am I stuck and need to restart the game. hope I'm making sense....

I'll have to think about this a little bit, but I wanted to say that I am nearly 100% certain that restarting the game will be unnecessary - it's probably just one little thing that you are missing. The ND games are not designed in such a way that you would get boxed into a corner like that.

I don't know if this is strictly necessary, but did you find the piece of paper out in the castle courtyard?

Quote:
Musical note paper: Turn around from the well or the shops.

Go across to the door below the street level. Turn around and see a paper on the steps.

Study the paper and see musical notes quiz. Learn the notes. This will be helpful in playing the glockenspiel.

Have you made sure that you have actually seen all the letters in the game after solving the puzzle from Lukas' father? I would again try going back to every letter just to make sure Nancy has seen them.

Also, here's a spoiler just to make absolutely sure you have the order correct:

Click to reveal..
All notes are on the bottom row. Number them 1-8 and play: 5, 2, 7, 5, 6

And if you are playing as an Amateur sleuth, it would be helpful to know what is still unchecked on your task list.
