Hi Granny,
It's a freeware game at Kontraband.com. The first one was called The Crimson Room. The object is to escape the rooms. That's usually how they are referred to ..."escape the room games." Free the baloon is another fun one on that site.
Carolin, yes I got it from the fridge. Unless there is some way to put it back in the fridge, but I don't think so. Anything else I might try? What about the hair? I have the guys picture in the frame, is that right?

Kim, once the beer is removed from the fridge it does get warm. You'll have to check it & if it's not COLD, put it back in the fridge for awhile. For the hair....do you have a lighter? The frame is all that's needed. The pictures aren't used, if I'm remembering correctly. Love, Jen

Hi Jen,
I put the beer back in the fridge for a while, got the hair burn clue. It matches the symbols page in the medicine bottle, correct? I take it those chinese symbols are numbers, just can't figure out what to do with them yet. When you "ping" the bowl with all the stuff set up, is something supposed to happen? Will I know when I have it right? Thanks for the tips!

Well, when you get it right the game is over so I'm thinking you'll know. You should have 2 papers regarding the symbol/numbers. One is complete (clue) & the other you must assemble with collected scraps. Love, Jen

Now, you guys got me on the game. Incense lit? The lighter doesn't work on pot on table or hair? Pieces of Paper - where? Placed picture on frame - man or woman. Nudge, nudge...

Okay, I'm slightly reminded now. There's several small pieces of paper to find that match the paper clue in the med bottle. Burn the hair on the paper & keep burning to get clue. No photo in the frame needed. Just red herrings. Scraps of paper with Japanese symbols on them, found all over. I'm sure you have at least one. Love, Jen

My bet is you're going to have to look UP to find that last scrap of paper. You need a key for the diary. Clicking several times on something will make it appear. Kim, you're going to need a green box to complete your alter display. Love, Jen

Marita, I had problems with finding one piece & it's probably this one so......SPOILER BELOW....... Face the corner where the blue door meets the wall. Door on the right side of the corner. There's a light fixture hanging from the ceiling. Look up. The scrap is the same color as the background, so just look for the outline of it. I think you light the incense in the gamescreen, not inside inventory. Not sure why yours wont light. The incense must be on the "altar" for it to light. Hope this helps & allows you to play instead of work. Love, Jen

Leeana,
The symbols are indeed numbers. Have you found the paper with hair on it and the lighter? These will help you along the way. The ankle lock was a weird thing. Let me know if you want the spoiler on that one. Good luck and have some more frustrating fun!

Leeana, The numbers taken is not for the sklelton ankle. It is for a separate offering on the altar. The skeleton ankle clue is in the diary. Let me try on paper correlation. SPOILER: . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . The paper at the medicine bottle has Chinese characters. The burnt hair paper after being clicked several times will show specific number of dots on certain squares. By the position of the squares with dots and the Chinese characters, you will know which character correlate to what number. Then place the pieces of paper that you collected all over on the green cross from the blanket based on the number shown.

MaG... I can't find a green cross.. I've clicked the blanket thousand times and it just folds and unfolds, I must be missing the correct point to click on. I also haven't found the key to diary.. I think I have everything else although I haven't figured which piece of paper is what number yet. Please hit me with your hinting stick

Pearl~ "The blanket won't come off until you get everything from the skeleton first. You should have 2 items taken from the skeleton. After that, click near the skeleton's feet, where you see a red loop. That will remove the blanket and put it in your inventory." The green cross is in the blanket. Hope that helps! Love, Jen

You should also have gotten a piece of paper with hair on it. You should burn that with the lighter. Then click on that paper until the paper shows the clues you need to solve the number puzzle. I think the words will be 'what does that mean?' when the paper has shown the clues. I think that might be the missing clue. Have fun now...

Cool, MaG. Yes, I finally got everything straightened out. Now, I'm having trouble figuring out what is missing from the book case. This is what I have sitting on the shelf: The picture frame with a picture in it. The open CD with the CD in it. The can of beer (cold). I cannot get anything to happen when I highlight each of the remaining inventory items (green box, green cross, paper with cross clue on it, lighter, pill container, key) and click on the pot of gray dust or yellow container. Clicking on the red mixer tells me "something is missing...". What am I missing? Su

Tvoe, check out the shelf that the diary is on. Move close to the shelf and check both sides. Good luck
