Hi All,

Trying the game and can't find the note. I found on the computer that there is a note that explain the color code but I've pixel hunted every place and can not find a note. Could someone please just tell me where the note is?

Also, how do I get DNA on the card I'm carrying around? The only thing I could find that could possible be it is blood and that doesn't work.

I have put my cursor on every spot I can find in all 4 rooms that I have access to and have yet to find a note. (Obviously I missed one spot or I would have found it)

If you only have access to 4 rooms...you need to look and use the panel on the wall outside the computer room...the cradle needs to be lowered

Thank you Sue. I found the note but now I don't know what to do with it. In fact, I'm rather dense and can't figure out what to do next.

I ran into a monster and now have a replica of myself in some room with beds.

Blanket
Box (that I can't open)
soda can
Fire Ext
Axe
2 video disks (that won't play in the payer)
and the note that says "Patience while you grill bacon Rinds" (which I don't understand).

I thought I'd find some DNA someplace or some way to open this box or something but I just keep wondering around like a lost puppy.

Interesting game but I'm really lost.

Like I said I'm pretty dense. I'm used to need an item, find the item, use the item etc.

There is a room with a glass door to the right. Let's call this room the Station Lounge. There is a seating area in the middle of the room. There is a "switch" on the right side of this seating area (colored red). Use it, and the video player to play both of those disks (in your inventory) will appear. Viewing these video disks helps you understand the ending of the game more.

Here I go again. Thank you gamehound for the disk info. Played the disks. Now I have more questions.

How do I get power to the Laser Desk?
How do I get the box open?
Where do I find body parts?
How do I get DNA?
How can I open the Voice activated panel?

Why am I playing this game?

It's a free game. Not the greatest, but it's a decent game.

1) Laser desk power. You need to get something from the file cabinet in the room with the laser desk. Once it is in your inventory, click on it with the hand icon and a new item will appear. Next, go to the room with the blackboard and use the new item on the video player. You will get the power supply shortly thereafter.

2) Once you power the laser desk, place the box on the laser desk and use it.

3) Body parts: a) arm in the cupboard. b) torso in the hanging fridge. c) leg in the freezer. d) head in the sleeping area. e) arm in the pipe (when there's a man in the glass tank later in the game). f) eyes in the sealed box. There is a "switch" on the top level of the floor in the sleeping area. You will need to press it to get the head.

4) Once you get the power supply for the laser desk, there are 2 items on the table under the blackboard. Go back to the room with the backup power unit. There is a machine to the left of the "left computer." Go there and use the sample dish you just found then use the ID card on it. That is your DNA requirement.

5) Voice-activated panel? I forget what this was.

Fantastic that got me going except I died. I can't figure out what to do with the hanging fridge and I end up dying from the stench.

Was just kidding about "why am I playing this game?". I'm really enjoying it even though I can't seem to figure anything out.

You need to figure out a way to drop the fridge into the hole somehow.

Got it thank you. I overlooked the obvious.

Finished the game I guess.

I answered yes at the end and nothing happened. I wondered around and ended up with an ending of sorts when I tried to enter the room again.

Will now go back and answer no and see what happens.

Weird game but enjoyable.

I'm not sure what it was called but the main character was sitting on a beach in a bikini sipping an exotic drink. In the other one she was shriviled up in the Quarintine room.

First, in my inventory I have a mirror,fire ext., arm, one video disc, id card, salt, an axe and a steel box.
Second, I can find anything to cut the wire. I am now stuck and can't get any further. I know I need a colour code. But haven't found that either.
I need some help......nudge, hint and/or both.
Help is greatly appreciated.

Did you go out the door to the beach? You need to do that twice. There will be something to collect on one of the beds. The cutting instrument you won't get till quite a bit later in the game.

Once you go through that beach door twice, head back to the room with the console. This should be enough to get you some more items. When you go back to the console room/cradle, you will be teleported back to the sleeping chamber (2 items to pick up there). You will have to read one of the items to get further along.

Just for an update I am at the grinder.
This game is definitely different.

I am stuck at the very beginning, confined in 3 rooms with the controls. I have in my inventory only ID card which doesn't have the right DNA. I turned on all controls and they are working. There is a wire in the analyzer which I have to cut but can not find anything sharp or any other items at all. Please

In the room with the console, did you try all of the screens?
Don't want to give too much away.
You don't need to cut that wire right now. It is later.

I am still stuck in the room with the grinder and a vent. I have used the axe on the vent but it stays it is stuck and that the axe won't work.

I still need help. I clicked everything on the console, solar orientation working. On the wall panel only safety lock can be turned on or off, I tried both ways. I didn't find any other screens in the console room. I think I need more revealing hints.

Did you turn the safety off? Did you adjust the chamber to lower?

I've been asleep since I last posted. It looks like you figured out how to open the vent in the room with the grinder.

There are 4 endings to achieve: venomous, decaying, damned and redemption. Of the 4, Redemption is the ending you want to achieve. The first 2 are dead ends (where you do not complete the game).

The current version of The White Chamber is v1.0 - The developers are planning on an "International" version with more game play. They are working on a non-adventure game at the moment, but should be starting on the International version soon after.

I am stuck again. I am in the Medical, moved the little robot to the fire, got 'extinguish fire' command, but the unit is not equipped. I have a fire ext but it doesn't work with the robot...can't figure out anything else...

Thank you for the hint. I sent the robot out before, but thought it was the wrong move. I looked through everything in Medical, got the envelope with the tape, but can't go back to the lab to listen to the tape, went trough that nightmarish passage to the chasm...may be a little nudge again please?

Thanks a lot! What a silly me!. I went to that red room before and didn't do anything, just didn't go to the far end. Now I got the second hand and going to watch the videotape. I'm sure I will be stuck again soon...

I'm stuck after opening the door to the grinder and checking out the vent. I read on this thread that I should go back to medical. How can I open the door to the quarantine chamber? What shall I use with the voice recognition panel? Also those signs on the blackboard, are they important?

Do you have all of your body parts? No......the blackboard signs are not important. Once you get to medical....you will know what to do....then the rest will become obvious. Hope this helps.

Isn't it something, how we can enjoy a low-tech game like this? Goes to prove that intelligent writing, not million-dollar graphics makes all the difference.
