My corporate master's office in Florida is closed as a precaution. I hope they remember they closed for a hurricane when local manager wants to close our store because of a snow storm in Nebraska this winter. Those guys in Florida never think we should close because of weather.

My wonderful neighbor has 2 family members in Florida in different cities. She's going nuts worrying. I told her that our GB crew would have the most accurate information. Everyone stay safe and be vigilant!

Anyone heard from Connie? Maybe all the power is out. My neighbor can't get in touch with her 3 relatives near Orlando. All 3 leave 1/2 mile from each other. Sister, her daughter and a niece. 2 of the houses managed to get plywood over the windows, but the niece had just moved into her new home and when they went to buy the materials, NOTHING was left. No plywood, no screws or nails, empty shelves in stores. Wow!

Not since FB last night. The area may be without power but other than that, I haven't heard any bad reports. Ana

My neighbor heard from her sister finally! High winds, some downed wooden fences, heavy rain, but so far they still have electricity and phone service. They are just waiting for 'something' to happen. Neighbor is really agonizing and worrying. Hope it all is over soon.

We finely got our power back after 36 hours. All is well, just a mess of branches and stuff to clean up. All the positive thoughts worked, thank you everyone.
