I just started playing. everything is fine BUT I kinda messed up. At the original install I told the game to "RUN IN A WINDOW" I should not have. I un & re installed the game hoping to get that prompt again but unfortunately I did not. Is there any way to "un-window the game?

Sometimes alt+enter works to switch between windowed and fullscreen

Do you get the game settings window when you launch the game? That's the one where it indicates which video card you have etc.? That's where the option to run the game windowed is.

NO I do not. The only time I got that window was the 1st time I started the game. After un & reinstalling I was hoping to get that again. Not so. It went right into the game.

Here are 5 different ways you might deal with it...

1. Look for a shortcut to an exe file that runs the configuration in the game folder or in your Windows Start Menu near the shortcut to the game.

2. Look for an .ini or .cfg file in the game folder (viewing of file extensions must be enabled), and try opening it with Notepad. If it's readable, look for an option like "windowed=1" and change to "windowed=0" (or "fullscreen=0" and change to "fullscreen=1").

3. Find the game's save folder (one of the subdirectories of the AppData folder). Uninstall the game and make sure the save folder is also gone. Sometimes games put user preferences in the save folder.

4. Uninstall the game, run ccleaner to clean the registry, and reinstall the game.

5. Change your desktop to the windowed resolution before playing

One of those should work... I was going to suggest Jenny's number 4.

Yay! Have fun with the game. Although I'm hopelessly stuck again, I'm enjoying it.

I don't know whether this game has any more glitches, but I hit one today, went back and checked it and it still there, I went to the Farm house and in through the window and clicked on the pentogram and then clicked on the circle in the centre, although the music kept on playing I lost my mouse and nothing would happen, I had to ctrl/alt and delete to get out of the game, I am just warning anyone else so that they don't click on the circle. Having said that I am enjoying the game hugely and it has not put me off one bit!!

I ran into several glitches before the game was updated, but I didn't run into this particular one. At some point, you will have to solve the pentagram puzzle and click in the center, but there will be plenty happening when you solve the puzzle to let you know.

About that Settings window, is it possible that when you started this game the first tine, you checked the "Window" setting, instead of the "full screen" setting and then checked the option: "Don't show this window again"? I've been playing this game and each time I start it I DO get the "Settings option" window. I hope this sheds some light as to why you are having this problem.

P.S. MAYBE if you delete the game and make sure there are no files left in the game folder, you can then re-download the game from scratch which then SHOULD allow you to access the Settings Options window. Just make sure "full Screen" is checked.
