Glitch is an Australian drama series, it ran for only 6 episodes. A second season is apparently in the works to be streamed on Netflix.

When a small town police officer is called to a cemetery to check out a disturbance he discovers six people, including one very important to him, have returned from the dead. Physically they're perfectly healthy, even if they were sick when they died, however they're all suffering from memory loss. There from different time periods, from only being dead for 2 years up to being gone a century and a half.

A medical doctor who claims she wants to help them knows some secret about one of them and isn't sharing what she knows, endangering them all.

After an automobile accident another officer has a change in personality, going from believing talk about the dead rising is insanity to suddenly hunting for them for an unknown reason.

The risen dead cannot venture too far from town, attempting to leave will render them dead again.

What, if anything, does there returning from the dead have to do with the local and very secretive pharmaceutical company?

To what does the title, Glitch, refer?

Sounds similar to the (sadly) short lived Resurrection that was on a couple of years ago.

Yep, same theme all over again, but it's the rendering of the drama that will tell if it's worth watching. Some 'zombie' movies are great and some are just fun. Gonna look into Glitch.

Warning episode 6 doesn't solve the mystery. By the end the 6 know who they were and how they died, disease, accident, murder, suicide. But how they were brought back hasn't been revealed although who is strongly hinted at. The how and why is still unknown. As is why the can't leave town without instantly decomposing.

I think "Glitch" is the "loss of memory."

The six have returned from the dead, physically they're perfectly healthy, even if they were sick before...but...there's a problem (glitch). Two in fact...memory loss 'and' they can't leave town far.

I watched half of episode one and it just didn't hook me. I'll try and finish off the episode tomorrow and see what I think then.

Netflix keeps dragging me back in. I canceled. They announced Longmire's final season. I was going to watch Longmire than cancel and now they've announced Glitch season 2 is coming the 28th.
