I'm stuck in the very beginning of this game already! I don't want to look at the walkthrough cause I'm afraid it might spoil the game for me. I'm outside of Kate's hotel. I have found the notary house. There's this mechanical head with arms which looks like it is guarding the house. Kate keeps claiming that the anamotran needs something in order for it to work. WHAT????????? I've looked up and down the street twice and searched Kate's room, thoroughly! Any hints would be great! Thanks! I'm in the little town of Validilene! Remember just hints!

Have you called your office on the cell phone to let them know what's going on? If so....you need to check in at the front desk of the hotel and see if you have any messages or faxes. Sometimes that sort of information can come in HANDY!

If this is the automaton that will let you into the notary's office, it would really like to look at something you have before it lets you in.

I was a little confused here too. just remeber there are two parts of your inventory, one for objects and one for documents. You can pick up and use the documents, but you have to click on the 'hand' icon in the document screen, not the 'eye' icon. (otherwise you just look at the document).

Thanks, guys! I got past that part! I just got by the cutscene with Hans and Anna as little kids. I'm still in Valadilene in case you were wondering. I had Kate take the toy from its place after the cutscene ended. Now what? I'm hopelessly stuck here! Hints only!

Sorry I didn't inform you guys of this already. I already found Oscar, made him some feet and now Momo wants Kate to draw him some mammoths just like Hans did. Hmmmmmmmm.......a little help here. I think I've already explored all the nooks and crannies that Valadilene has to offer. I'm thinking I should go back to Momo and hand him the new toy I found so he'll tell me the secret he has. Will that work? Please let me know!

Kate is not much of artist, but she might be able to come up with something to satisfy Momo anyway. Stay in the attic. Look at stuff carefully. What you are seeking is difficult to see.

There are lots of "nooks and crannies" to find. Did you take your paper and pencil over to the light and turn it on? Just a hint!

and do you know how to do a 'rubbing'? It is lots easier than trying to draw what you need.

Should I ignore the message for a little bit and keep exploring the station or go ahead and go up to the leaders of the university? Hints only!

I am at the university town. I have run out of options, as my only source for the grapes has run off somewhere. These grapes are attractive to the Amerzone Cuckoos that dominate the station aviary. My question is this: Where do I send Kate now? How do I get out of this mess and on my way again? I am absolutely clueless on what to do here. Please help! Hints only! Thanks!

Mac, go through the place where you get off and on the train, and on the other side walk forward quite a ways.

You will have to get the people who run that barge to bring the train up here, and that will involve some more fun......

Find anything at the beach where you found the Station Master. At our beaches we find shells and such. The beach there has something a bit more practical!

Okay:

Past those pesky three birds I did the following:

-Went up to where the automatron (spelling?) was and examined it. Found the egg and couldn't take it down.
-Went back to the three bridge crossings and received the wine bottle from the stationmaster.
-I have found the barge before I got rid of the birds and talked to the couple on the boat.
-I have talked to the professor, the three stooges, the stationmaster about their smuggling deal going on.

Yes! I gave the Mammoth to the professor after I logged off of here for some time. I'm guessing that Kate has automatically given the Prof. her number? Now what??????? Do I just wander around? I listened to the second voice cylinder and I gathered the powder and the test tube holder to from the lab. Do I give the Prof. the powder to see what he does? Please help!

Mac....Did you get TWO items from the glass cabinet in the Professor's lab? I looked again, and it appears you did. Maybe one of those thingies could possible be used to retrieve a certain egg from a certain nest. I'm sure you already know where that egg goes??????

You gals were right! It worked! Now, I've figured out how to open the first boat lock. The number was 42. But, how in the world do I get the other lock to open?????? I can't even figure that out! How do I start to figure it out? Please help!

Is the barge in the lock, Mac? If so, you'll be able to tell if the number is correct, because the water level will lift the barge.

If the barge isn't in the lock, you need to go talk to the barge owners......

I've placed the lemon and the crystallized honey and the vodka in their correct places. I have the musical scale and I think the numbers I found in the Kronsky brochure tell me which order to press the keys in. Unfortunately, Helena still refuses the wine no matter what mixes I try. What am I doing wrong? Is the switch to the right of the piano keys supposed to be on towards the right or the left????? Please help!!!!!! I need hints here!!!!

(2) Sure you have the formula for the drink?
(3) Didn't confuse the markings for ice and honey on the controls?
(4) Switch to left = 2nd key
(5) Then to the right = 3rd key
