Hi.
Has anyone played the Sherlock Holmes game The Devil's Daughter? We played the
others in the series but we're not in love with that deduction board the games use.
Wondering how this one goes.
Thanks

It has the deduction board.
There is a lot more dependence on timed events than in previous Sherlock games.
If you want to see what the gameplay is like, check a YouTube playthrough like ***this one***.

You'll probably find more posts about it in "Hints & Help" -- mainly requests for save games. It is the most "console-like" of Frogware's Sherlock games.

Hi, let's wait to hear some comments from other players, as I haven't played the game. One thing I can tell you, though, is that apparently there are one or two un-skippable action scenes which gave some players trouble. wave

Oh, the thought it's "console-like" bothers me. Will check out the YouTube.
Thanks.

There are stealth sequences, balancing sequences, timed sequences, sequences where you have to avoid being shot and run and hide behind trees, rocks, etc. They aren't the whole game, but they have potential to be dead ends because many are not skippable.

So disappointed in the route Frogwares has taken with this game frown
