Hi Guys.
I am having trouble running Myst 4, the game installs and there is an icon on the desktop, but the game will not run.
I have tried installing complete and minimum requirements but neither work.
Can someone out there PLEASE inform me what I need to do?

Since this is a technical problem, I have moved your post over to the Glitches forum.

What version of windows are you using?

Myst IV used SafeDisc v3 so this is probably a copy "protection" (DRM) problem. This DRM no longer allows you to play the game on Windows 7,8,10.

If you have the original 2004 version of the game, be sure to patch to get rid of the too-fast chair problem, then follow the instructions here

Ubisoft has a patch that patches to version 1.03 here

I'm not sure if the Ubisoft patch is the one that removes the DRM though.

I have a NoCD that is supposed to work with the 1.03 patch.
